The light cycle seems to have changed from sensing to timed and there isn't as much traffic going out of Deborah Drive to need that length of a light cycle. Also the two lane heading east on Tapp to serve as a flow for people turning into the offices down in Deborah Drive is being more heavily abused to serve as a fast pass of the line of traffic and risky merging than it was previously before the light cycle changed.
Stop light at Landmark and 3rd took more than 8 minutes to change green from the Landmark side and then was green only long enough to let two cars through. Second time this week. Cars were turning around and some entering intersection without the green light. A hazard. Our options to get into town are limited these days between closures and construction on both 2nd and 3rd street.
Except for maybe two (entrance and leasing office), all of the street lights in Oakdale Square Apartments have been non-functional since April. This is a violation of Unified Development Ordinance, Section 21.301.07. Failure to maintain street lighting poses a safety risk to residents and pedestrian and increases the risk of property crimes.
The stoplight on Walnut at the intersection of South Drive is red for 41 seconds… There are never any cars on South Drive… There's absolutely no reason for this light to be red for that long

This is the 2nd time I’m reaching out about a nuisance light. I reached out on 06/16/26 about a nuisance light on the neighboring houses property. That case number is #211729. The case still just says open. The house is currently vacant. There is a private light pole on the property that is so bright it illuminates my backyard plus my bedroom windows. Because of this I I am having a lot of difficulty sleeping. I don’t mean to sound like that person but I am a first responder that spends a lot of time awake through the night so when I’m at home, my sleep is very important to me. Also because of this light, my family and I are no longer able to sit out on our back porch in the evenings due to being blinded by this light. I did send one image and my first complaint. It shows where the light is in comparison to my back yard. I will send another picture with this complaint. The picture with this complaint is my face illuminated from the light as I sit on my back porch in the evening. If need be I have many more pictures I would be glad to send. The street light at this location is very bright and creetes glare into our west-facing windows. Requesting a shield to limit light spillage into our yard and home.
Light pattern needs looked at! Always red on n walnut st. with NO traffic coming from a dead end south st. Needs adjusted to traffic patterns!!
