Sidewalk & Curb Complaints
- Case Date:

While traveling West on Kirkwood, just prior to Rogers, on the North side of the street is the curb bump out to protect the parking spots. It needs to be paint yellow ( the curb) to alert motorists about an object in the road.
One can easily see that it had been hit by many a tire and rim.
Thank you for your consideration to this matter.

Observation: there is no place on this app for public safety issues; understand urgent issues should be 911 issues, but less urgent issues could be addresses in app. Issues listed here are the nuisance, quality of life kind.
Suggestion: add a public safety topic here
Thanks

Just an observation:
I noticed in the municipal rules for Bloomington bicycling, that Tricycles are still listed as toys and exempt from the regular rules , and in some cases prohibited from the regular rules of the bicyclists.
I feel as though a clarification may be needed, as there are tricycles that are not toys in the familiar sense.
My "bike" has 3 wheels and has the ability to keep pace with road traffic in some areas of town. The wheel size on my trike is 20", and by no means a kids play toy in the conventional sense as my top speed is about 50 MPH (yes, non-motorized)
Thank you for you consideration into looking into the update of the language for tricycle definition.
Sincerely
Randy Craw, proud owner of a modified for speed, recumbent, Catrike, road edition bike.

No Problem to report, just once again saying thank you for the quick responses to all of the reports I list. I know I submit a lot of little piddly ones too, and I never expected to see such a fast turn around time on them as well.

The new decorative stone that replaces the beauty bark on the dividing islands on W. 2nd st. Is a nice idea that might need a little tweeking. The rocks are prone to be kicked into the road as has already happened to the North most island.
Thank you, I'll ponder answers, maybe a higher edging would help to keep the stones in place a little better.
Thank you
