The street light in front of my neighbors house in front of 422 E University is intermittent. It turns itself off at random times and then comes back on a few minutes later. This problem has persisted for several months. I tried reporting this online to Duke Energy, but their online tool doesn't show a street light on this block, so I'm hoping you can find out who takes care of this light and forward the information to the appropriate people. Dangerous Crossing of Third Street. Traffic on 3rd is going one-way west. Traffic on Henderson is going one-way north. Cars wishing to make a right on red often only look left (to spot oncoming traffic) and do not look right, where pedestrians are crossing with a little white man telling them it's safe to go. I have witnessed three very close calls where pedestrians trying to cross were almost hit by drivers making a right on red. The solution is to prohibit a right on red in this very heavily trafficked area. Please don't wait for someone to be actually hit to make this change. Thanks!

I believe that the intersection of Hunter and Fess (one block North of the new Bloomingfoods store) should be changed from a 2 way stop to a 4 way stop. When travelling west on Hunter, it is very difficult to see any traffic coming up Fess (north bound) until you are completely in the street. This traffic on Fess does not stop today, while Hunter does stop. With the significant number of cars normally parked on Fess, it is very difficult to see oncoming traffic until you are nearly into the oncoming traffic lane. With the new Bloomingfoods, there seems to be a growing amount of traffic using Fess in this area. I regular use Hunter on my bicycle, and this intersection is the most dangerous one on Hunter, and would benefit from being converted to a 4 way stop.

Across the street from our house, there is street parking, but there is a lot of broken glass. Not only is it a safety hazard for people walking/crossing the street, but there is definitely enough glass to cause popped tires. If it can get swept/cleaned up soon, that would be amazing.

Drunken college students (I bet you wish you had a dollar for every time one of these started that way) pulled a pipe out of the ground from down the block and threw it in my yard during little 5. I know where they pulled it from since I used to pass it on my way to work. It is vertical and has orange spray paint on it and I'm assuming it was used to mark water lines or other utility info under ground.
