I found a syringe just a foot or two off the B-Line Trail in a clump of spearmint growing behind the orange building at 7th and Madison. Ironically, the syringe was orange too. I left it there, because I am not trained in handling syringes, but it should probably get picked up and disposed of properly. Thanks, Yael

For our Engineering Program, a couple of students and I, have been aiming to place a concrete slides in one of our local parks. We've contacted a manufacturer and asked for a list of previous customers who own one similar to the one we are considering. Thus I am here with an inquiry. The bike path along Sare Road south of the intersection with Olcott is rapidly deteriorating due to continuous water flow over the path that washes dirt, branches and rocks onto the path. Something needs to be done to divert this water away from the path. In the winter the water freezes, leaving the path coated with a sheet of ice. Very dangerous for bikes and pedestrians.

There are currently no no-smoking signs in the Upper Cascades park. My wife and I were there with our 1 year old daughter last Monday or Tuesday, and were unable to use the swings as two childless adults were smoking on the swing set and declined to move. Can prominent signage be placed to indicate the park/park system is smoke free? I would also update the park rules to be more layman friendly, as they primarily reference federal, state, and city codes (found here https://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=7722). Several of the bridges on the trail at RCA park have severe damage. One of them has been broken for weeks, the other has several broken boards and has become unsafe in the last day. There is also a deep pot hole in the asphalt. I am sending pictures of the problems. I greatly appreciate what all of you do! Thank you!

For the last few mornings there have been cars parked in front of the entrance to the Polly Grimshaw bike bath on the street right by the Park Ridge Park playground. I would like to request a more visible "no parking" sign be installed as this can be very inconvenient and even dangerous depending on how fast you are going on a bike.
