Drivers turning old 37 into race track. The attached image of the license plate and black Ford Focus. This guy was racing Two motor cycles on old 37 on Sunday April 23rd at noon. Passed me by Monroe/Morgan State Forest on a double yellow going at lest 60-70mph. I caught up to him at the entrance onto highway 37/i69. Then in all of his genius he went to an egg Mcmuffin emergency at McDonald's in Martinsville..

Its my personal belief that room 112 in the crawford building on south henderson is full of stolen property. The person who lives there,Scotty, claims he get this stuff from dumpsters. Well, from the smell of apt 112, i would agree that much of the items in the apt do come from the trash. 4 computers? Laptops? Jewelry? Who throws away that stuff. Hes got a table saw in his apt and there has been construction around the area for several years. II dont think people throw out table saws that function. Maybe consider a search warrant for Crawford building, apt 112. Ill bet half of the items you find in there were reported stolen. I couldnt find where to report this legitimately, so I used this form. I apologize. Thank You, William M Rose.

Could someone call me about the bums who are forever inhabiting the Building and Trades Park on Howe St. I pay 7000 annually in taxes and it's about to be 10000. I would appreciate a phone call or email. Have a great day. Thank you.

East Kirkwood Avenue looks like a shanty town! Homeless are blocking the street, sleeping on the sidewalk, hanging clothes from fences and putting up tents!

Hello, I would like to give feedback on some unfortunate observations recently on Kirkwood Avenue and the surrounding streets. This took place last Friday evening around 8:30. We took a stroll after dinner to walk around the downtown area, and it was the first time in 20 years of living here, I felt unsafe. I witnessed people doing drugs, drinking on the street, and what appeared to be a drug deal, right on Kirkwood. I have to say I have come to expect public intoxication from college age students, but I think the police do a very good job of handling those cases. The people involved in the activities I mentioned are not college students. Most looked like they could be homeless or struggling in some way.
I understand there is no easy solution. These people need therapy, but they have to be willing to try to improve their lives. I'm not advocating arresting the people. I do think a stronger police presence is needed in these busy areas. I'd recommend posting cadets or others in uniforms strategically in the area. Maybe better lighting and security cameras would help.
Thanks,
Aaron Perry

I am becoming very concerned with the increasing homeless population on the B-Line Trail. The trail is no different than the parks out of which they are being removed. It's interesting that they get to use the same city services when they don't pay taxes. They often monopolize the public spaces, thus adversely impacting the availability for those who pay taxes and responsibility use the city services. The City of Bloomington needs to begin worrying about its taxpaying citizens, not the homeless.

Public right of way in alley behind our house was blocked by four cars. Illegal frat is using the alley for its private excess parking lot. Request fines be administered to stop this practice. This is not the first time cars have been parked in the alley, but four cars at once is a record. The illegal frat needs to be convinced that the public alley is not their private lot.
