Mulched leaves can be emptied between the basketball court and the sidewalk behind the Lutheran church at East Third and Smith road. Mulch will be used at their garden nearby. A few loads of leaves were put there last winter. The leaves will be moved with a bucket loader. The leaf pickup driver in Park Ridge this week was agreeable if his supervisor approves.
This sidewalk at the southwest corner of 1st and High (about 30 yards west of High) has a cutout for a driveway but has for months years been a slippery mudpit/bumpy weed/dirt ditch. Please fill in the sidewalk so walking (and wheelchairs etc) can navigate the sidewalk safely (and avoid the 24/7 nuisance of dogs/pets hounding passersby across the street). this is at 701 S. Lincoln Street on the corner of Lincoln and Wiley. The bike path sign in front of my house is leaning over the sidewalk again and blocking the side walk. Someone keeps doing this. I would appreciate if it could be secured or removed. There is a large hole in the ground. thank you
Can't zone in on the location. It's the north-south alley running from Atwater to Hunter, just east of the Subway on Atwater, right before 914 Atwater, about halfway down. Where the pavement turns to gravel, there is a bad drop-off that could do real damage if a driver didn't see it (under snow or in the dark).

Here are a few pictures of the curb cut issue on Clarizz by the entrance to Bloomingfoods. You can see that there are no ramps on either side of the turn-in to Bloomingfoods from Clarizz. Therefore, anyone wanting to walk to Bloomingfoods using a wheelchair would not have easy access. What you have to do is use the sidewalk across the street (which does have a curb cut) and then cross Clarizz to enter the Bloomingfoods parking area. The problem with this is that the traffic is very heavy on Clarizz, particularly so close to the intersection with 3rd St and this makes crossing, particularly for someone in a wheelchair, perilous. I'm requesting that the City add curb cuts to the sidewalk on Clarizz by Bloomingfoods to fix this problem. A less ideal fix would be to add a crosswalk to the other side of the street, but I really don't see this as a great solution.
The curb cut has turned into a sink hole at the southwest corner of 9th and IN. The sidewalk on the opposite corner (north side of 9th between Indiana and Fess) is also a problem.
Recently, I reported some damage to the E. Regents Circle street, which the City immediately fixed. The repair work was OUTSTANDING, by the way! The promptness and quality of the repair work was spot-on ... many thanks to the City! However, after a few months we've noticed that the asphalt used for the repair appears to now be "separating" from the original pavement of the East edge of street (see attached photo). Our concern is that as winter approaches, there will be opportunities for water/snow/ice to accumulate, freeze, and actually cause *more* damage to the original repair work.
