I'm a resident at Ambassador Apartments, and these potholes (4 major ones) are always on my way to the bus, dumpster, and sidewalk. I'm blind, and I cannot notice these while I'm walking, and I've fallen on them many times. I've lived here since 2011, and these potholes have existed since that time without being repaired.
Walk light does not turn on to cross S Henderson St. That’s going west on E Winslow Rd using the sidewalk on its south side.
There is still storm debris blocking a public sidewalk. People including children and those with motorized chairs are walking in Rockport for about a bock and a half. Someone is may get hurt.
I've reported this multiple times now over the past couple months. Sidewalk along North side of East Rogers is still overgrown with vegetation, including poison ivy. At this point this has been an issue all summer. Grounds crew were out mowing and cleaning up on south High recently, but they stopped short of cleaning this section up on Rogers. To clarify, this is the sidewalk/multiuse path that runs along the north side or Rogers Road, between High up to Winding Brook Circle.
Our street has not been plowed. I'm concerned about tomorrow's snow being piled on Friday's snow. Thanks.
The sidewalk is covered by vegetation. It's extremely dangerous to ride bike since I have to get really close to the end of the sidewalk which was a steep drop off toward the incoming traffic.
I submitted a request for repair of this sidewalk in front of the house with no response. So then I submitted a 50-50 request to get this repaired, also with no response. I have already seen a child fall and skin up his hands and knees due to this sidewalk which has been like this for so long. It got worse when a city work truck came over the curb to collect brush and scooped so deep that the big root was pulled up and worsened the crack. Several surrounding slabs are cracked, but this one is the worst. Who do I need to contact to get this hazard repaired? Nothing so far seems to have worked. We have a sidewalk in front of our home that is a major tripping hazard. Tree roots have lifted the sidewalk almost 3 inches making a serious tripping hazard. I contacted the city about 18 months ago to request to be put on the 'fix list' with us paying for the concrete, but nothing has been done. Please can this be addressed soon. Thank you.
A city plow ran aground taking with it the yard and sidewalk. How can we get this repaired? Thanks.
Early morning on Monday 1/6/14 a city snow plow somehow got his blade extended past the curb at the front of my property and plowed up as much as 30 to 40 SF of sod from the area between the back of the curb and the sidewalk. I suppose legally this area is city ROW, but it will still need to be repaired come next spring. Thank you in advance for your help.
