A student reported to IU Police Dept. on Friday, 9/25, that the crosswalk on 10th Street in front of Psychology was not very visible. Although it has signs up, they felt the lines on the pavement were not very visible. Thanks Jill (IU Grounds Department).

I received an email from a neighbor: I was just taking an evening stroll with my dog when I noticed pieces of blue plastic strewn across the road at Driscoll & Grant (northwest corner). The pieces are what appear to be shaving razors, possibly run over with a lawn mower. There are pieces on the road so, if you walk/skate/bike on that street, keep your eyes open for sharp pieces!
This is not a building issue but rather an issue with a cable line going from the utility pole to my house. The line is sitting in the alley which could get tangled in a vehicle. The line has been exposed for 40 days. I am the owner at 2020 E. 2nd Street. Comcast has done nothing when I call them about the issue. Can the town help me pressure Comcast to bury the line?
City tree branch fell on property of 403 E. Sixth Street, damaged gutter. Branch needs removal.

I am hoping you can help my daughter and granddaughter. She is having trouble in her neighborhood with vandalism, finding needles in her yard, vagrants, and more. Above her house in the front, and back, are pairs of shoes hanging from the power lines. Four pair to be exact. A known drug dealer was recently arrested in the property behind her home. A request, please send a truck that can reach the low hanging power lines and cut down the pairs of shoes. While some say that this does not mark drug activity, I believe it does in this case and I believe that my daughter is in danger. Her address is 120 E Dixie St in Bloomington. I appreciate your consideration. I live in Arizona and visit your city frequently. Recent events in the area where my daughter lives is troubling. So much so that she is selling the home and leaving the area completely. Thank you for your help.
