Hello, I live at 3408 E Olcott Blvd. There is a storm drain on the street between 3408 and 3412 that runs under my property and opens into a drainage ditch behind my shed. This pipe is completely clogged with leaves and other debris. Is clearing this pipe something the city can take care of? Thanks! Andy
Curb and gutter are wet for 50-100 yards on the west side of the street. It appears the water is "moving" to the nearest underground drain.
Drainage issue behind my house (2201 E. Autumn Drive). Rain water goes to the Jackson Creek but since last year the pipe has been damaged and now huge area has been damaged by the rain water. Big huge trees are falling (another one about to fall) because the rain is sweeping all the soil and roots have been exposed. Please have someone visit the site ASAP.
We had a massive overflow of the drainage ditch next to our house after tonight's (2/20) storm. There must be some blockage at the end of the drain because water poured out of the ditch and basically covered our half of our backyard. The ditch either needs to be dug deeper and/or it needs to be cleared of debris in order to assure adequate drainage. We have photos for visual evidence but were unable to upload them through this website. Thank you for your attention to the matter.
The culvert that comes from under West Kirkwood and runs east in an open ditch between Kirkwood and 4th street is very overgrown with bushes and trees growing in the structural limestone. It has not been cleared for at least eight years.
Hunter foot path and ditch between Eastside Drive and Hunter. Weeds growing onto path, ditch disappearing because of all the weeds that grow in and next to it. Who is responsible: City or adjacent home owner? This problem was first reported on July 22. Nothing seems to have been done about it, so it is getting worse.
Thanks for painting some of the fire hydrants in Waterman. You missed the one at 7th and Spring St; it's the one covered by vines.
I work at Middle Way House's transitional Housing, the Rise and right next to our property there is an open manhole. Our address is 401 S. Washington Street, and the hole is to the left side of the building in the vacant lot. It appears that the cover is broke and pieces of it are down inside the hole. Thanks!
There is a leaking fire hydrant in the parking lot of the Winslow Sports Complex, on the south side near the handicap parking spaces and the entrance to the ball fields.
