Street tree that's in the City right-of-way has many low hanging branches that are making travel on the sidewalk and street hazardous. Request that a Street crew please take a look at this tree and trim as necessary. Thank you.
A neighborhood deer died of natural causes (disease?) this past Monday March 26th on the sidewalk on the side of my house at 425 E Dodds St. We immediately called the city to report it and were told someone could come remove it on Tuesday or Wednesday. We called again Wednesday late afternoon and were told someone would probably come Thursday to remove it. It is now Friday evening, March 30th, and no one has come or contacted me. The deer is now decaying and something is starting to eat it at night. As the Bryan Park neighborhood have homes quite close together, I'm afraid the smell will start to bother the neighbor, and I'm afraid that the dead animal is becoming a health hazard and will spread disease. I was told when I called on Wednesday no one had come to remove it yet because the vehicle that is typically used was out of service, but that it would probably be back in service on Thursday. If the vehicle is not yet back in service, the city should hire a contractor to come remove the deer - I would have done so myself at the beginning of the week if I had known it was going to be left rotting all week. Overgrown bamboo at 1002 W 6 St and Elm bending into sidewalks and street obstructing traffic. Bird droppings covering the sidewalk. The invasive plant has encroached on neighboring property where we live at 1004, so we are having to engage removal services and eventually install impermeable barriers at our expense. The back yard of 1002 is overgrown also, feral cats, possum and a skunk have been sited or smelled in a fallen shed which has not been cleared out. The Elm Street side of 1002 is full of debris and overgrowth and there is an unattended stagnant water feature where we hear frogs in the summer (which do attract copperhead snakes). Someone does seem to be inhabiting the house, though we know that the owner of the house does not reside in Indiana presently.
Sidewalk along north side of 6th street between Lincoln and Grant is covered in broken glass. Looks like it might have come from the pink rental house on the corner of 6th and lincoln. This seems real dangerous, especially with the amount of kids heading to the library here.

4000 E Morningside drive still hasn't removed limb laying in roadway that broke from thet since the snow. Don't like having to drive in middle of road around it.

Walk light does not turn on to cross S Henderson St. That’s going west on E Winslow Rd using the sidewalk on its south side.
The property at 312 N. Washington St. has had bags of trash in its front yard, plus in tree, for weeks now. The bags are ripping open and sending trash flying. There is what I like to call the Trash Christmas Tree by the sidewalk, a large branch filled with trash.
I would like to suggest sending a clean-up crew for the sidewalk on Gordon Drive East of Henderson behind the Sweetbriar neighborhood. I walked past there yesterday and it is filthy and full of debris. Placing about three trash cans along that road may also help. I love Bloomington and really enjoy my walks both along the trails and in the neighborhoods. Cannot wait for the new the Switchyard Park!
