The occupants of 521 W. 4th St. leave piles of dirt and trash cans in the 4th Street 7 days a week.
The pedestrian crosswalk buttons are not working properly at the intersection of 10th & Jordan this morning. In particular, the westbound crossing button on the southeast corner did not activate the pedestrian crossing light through several cycles at approx. 9:10am. I didn't confirm, but it looked like other buttons/directions were having similar problems. Was working fine yesterday.
THERE IS AN ABANDONED RED FORD PROBE THAT HAS BEEN ON THE PROPERTY FOR AT LEAST TWO MONTHS. NO LICENSE PLATES, AND IT NEVER MOVES.
Stop sign needs to be replaced
The view of oncoming traffic is obscured at this intersect by the residences. I have not been in or witnessed a collision, but I believe that safety is a concern. I believe that any misfortune might be mitigated with the posting of stop signs or the placement of convex traffic mirrors. The surrounding residences are property of Indiana University. I am a lessee of one of these properties- 824 1/2 East Cottage Grove Avenue.
A large pothole has formed as one turned off of 10th Street. The address it is located is 409 E 10th Street.
Winding Way, Kingsley/Valleyview and a few spots on Briarcliff in Fritz Terrace need to be resurfaced. Might be easy to include in Kinser Pike resurfacing project currently. Specific pothole spots include: 1012 Winding Way, intersection of Winding Way and Stonycrest, 912,1141, 1132, 1122, 1112, 1102, 1031, 3351 Winding Way; 3401, 3431, 3451, 3501, 3501, 3521, 3621, 3711, 3232, 3212, 3101 Kingsley, Kingsley and Briarcliff, Kingsley and Meadow; 3402, 3342, 3332, 3311 Valleyview; and 1121 Briarcliff.
