Hi friends, My name is Amy and I volunteer at a youth center. Recently we have been discussing the importance of fire safety in the children's homes so they can be prepared in case of emergency.Two of the kids, twins Tyler and Ben, had a slight scare when a minor fire broke out in their kitchen last week. Luckily nobody was hurt and there wasn't much damage. I suggested that they share this with you because it had such great information and I also want to impress upon them that by reaching out and simply asking others, like yourself, things can be accomplished that the kids might not otherwise think they can. There is a road construction sign sitting to the right of the exit from the plaza (3rd and college mall) between German American bank and HuHot Mongolian Restaurant. This sign is obstructing view when using this exit and is not safe for people pulling out onto busy 3rd street. Please move it.

Hello, I am currently trying to sell my house at 1221 W. 6th Street. Potential buyer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive however several people have decided not to buy my house because of the condition of the neighboring property to the east. That particular house is abandoned and derelict. Are you able to take any action that would remedy this plight or if this is simply a civil matter please let me know what steps I should take to address the problem myself. 400 Block S Jordan has heavy pedestrian traffic and many houses that have not cleared snow at all from sidewalk (403, 405, 409 S Jordan).

Icy, snow covered sidewalk made it difficult for walking in front of Micro Motors drive. Also a problem around the corner on Grimes at the other entrance to Micro Motors.

The speed bumps here are massive and are destroying my suspension. The speed limit is 25MPH in my neighborhood but I can't go more than 10MPH without my car bottoming out on the speed bumps or hitting my head on my car ceiling. I'm all for speed bumps enforcing a reasonable speed limit but having two gigantic speed bumps every block in my entire neighborhood is kind of silly. I have to drive over dozens of these a week when going to work and have now had to replace my struts ($900) and my shocks/shock absorbers are next ($800). I have a Toyota Camry, which is a pretty common and rather robust car generally speaking so I doubt my story is a unique one. Is it possible to lower the speed bumps? Thank you.
