Start enforcing against IU golf cart type vehicles. Please require at least a slow moving vehicle emblem or lamp as allowed by Indiana Code for municipalities. Plus they don't use turn signals, don't get over to allow passing, etc. Arrogant, dangerous, and obstructive.
Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the numerous pairs of shoes that are on South Park Avenue, specifically the north end near Atwater Avenue. There are two sections of wires if you start heading from north to south on the road that are loaded with these shoes. The removal of these shoes would help with the overall sense of security in the neighborhood and it is always nice to remove an eyesore. Enormous amount of trash along the side and behind the house. This looks like a possible place that rats and other vermin could be living. This is a rental property and the area has had numerous trash, excessive growth and disrepair complaints.
I'd like to address that there is severe mold issues on the pickleball and tennis courts at RCA park. The black mildew/mold issue has caused numerous instances with pickleball play and tennis play becoming a safety issue due to how slippery the surface get's. Many people have been slipping lately because the mold creates a very slippery surface. I'd like to suggest and request that someone comes to take a look at the issues near the back of the courts towards the woods. I have lived in Bloomington the past 4 years, and have never had a run in with the police. I had been driving a nicer, 2015, Hyundai Sonata. Unfortunately I got in an accident where I have had to use a much older car. Since driving this older car I have been pulled over 3 separate times. One time was for "speeding" where I was going 35 in a 40. When I told the police officer I was going 5 under, due to traffic, he tried to tell me my license and plate were suspended. When I showed him it was not he got very frustrated. The other day I got pulled over for a headlight being out where 4 difference police cars surrounded me. I had a passenger, who was 22, and they asked him if he had been drinking and he said he had two beers and they got mad at him for legal drinking? I am the daughter of an IMPD officer and I think your police officers are extremely biased on the types of cars they pull over. I had messaged about the first offense since he illegally searched my trunk, and have yet to hear back three months later. I know police procedure, however your department does not. This is very concerning because I have been around police my entire life and have studied Criminal Law for the past 3 years. Your police need to understand the correct procedures and stop taking advantage of college kids doing nothing wrong.
There are two vehicles on my block. One has been parked for months and not moved. It's a silver Thunderbird. The other vehicle has been parked for several days. It is parked facing the wrong direction and almost 2 feet from the sidewalk. It's a white Aerostar van.
There need to be more signs in the direction opposite one-way traffic that indicate "Wrong Way" or "No entry" for streets perpendicular to 6th Street. Too many people have been driving the wrong way down 6th Street and it is really dangerous. If a person is unfamiliar with the area, there is limited signage that indicates they are driving the wrong way down 6th until they come in contact with another car.
I got my utility bill for this month that states that I did not pay the utility amount for the previous month. I have a credit card statement saying that I did. I called a couple weeks ago and they said if I emailed in proof of the statement, then the amount would be fixed. I emailed it in and it still has not been fixed. I would really like this resolved before my water bill is due on the 25th of this month. Thank you!
There is a whole lot of bush clover growing around the picnic area beyond the gate at Leonard Springs Nature Park. bush clover is invasive especially in wooded areas and should be removed.
A grey honda cr-v has been blocking our alley for months. The alley is between 8th and 9th streets and Indiana and Dunn.
