Potholes, Other Street Repair

Case Date:
6/12/2018

The alley behind my house which connects West 3rd St to Euclid Avenue has developed some major potholes as utility trucks have passed through. My neighbors and I (8 of us) all park behind our houses along this alley, and the deep holes are difficult to navigate. It's a gravel alley which has been regraded before and I am wondering if it can be done again. Thank you.

Re case # 164723 (Supposedly resoled) Grass has been cut. Absolutely correct. But how about the E First sidewalk towards Rose? I do not see any improvement there. Low-hanging branches hitting me in the face and arms. Also, another problem has arisen: corner of Eastside and E First: long vegetation is starting to impair the view to the left where cars may be coming out of nothing from E First. Cases Locations Report a problem closed: Resolved #164723 Excessive Growth: Other: E First Street: Vegetation encroaching on the sidewalk between Rose and Eastside Drive. Also, unkempt lawn (again) on 721 Eastside. Reported By Stella Hooker-Haase Assigned to Kenneth Liford History 6/12/2018 10:22:25 Closed by Kenneth Liford Grass at 721 has been cut. Trash

Case Date:
6/18/2018

I would like to file a complaint regarding whomever is picking up our trash and recycling at 422 S. Hawthorne Dr. For the past several months, the sanitation workers have become increasingly careless with throwing empty bins onto our curb, into the middle of our driveway, and even (today) in the middle of the street. While I recognize that the workers are busy, this is a health and safety hazard and we pay too much money in property taxes to receive this sort of inexcusable service. PLEASE ask sanitation workers who pick up trash and recycling on S. Hawthorne Dr. to do their jobs properly and not create more work, let alone health and safety hazards, for residents.

About once a year, the alley ways need trimmed back of the bushes that overgrow into them. The area of concern are the alley going north/south just east of the Atwater Ave Subway restaurant between Atwater and Hunter, and the one going east west from Woodlawn to Faculty Dr. I drive these alleys daily and have noticed the branches have gotten to the point of needing trimmed. Thank you for your prompt attention.

The brick street on Park Avenue, in between 8th and 9th Streets, was torn up by the construction crews when they built the new Fiji house. They completed the work a while ago, but the street is still in awful shape. There are ruts everywhere, and a huge hole just south of 9th street. The bricks need to be replaced on this whole block.

I know you have been working on this, but at this point, there is no way to do a ureport on a mobile device. Only a couple of the categories show up and you can't scroll inside the page like on the desktop version (which... I don't understand why that is a thing in the first place). It's frustrating because I never remember to make reports once I get to a computer, and have to sync photos from my phone before doing it when I do remember.

Intersection of Ruby and Circle Drive. This is part of the Allen-Covenanter Greenway for cyclists. The other day I was coming from Circle, ready to turn left on Ruby, when I almost hit a cyclist on Ruby, whom I had not seen because of the high grasses in the yard of the Ruby-Circle Drive corner house. Maybe the 2 bushes closest to the intersection could be cut back, for better visibility for motorists coming from Circle Drive.
