As a rep of the HOA I spoke with owner at 3873 Laurel regarding the truck and trailer parked in the street and the complaints I have received. I suggested that he park the vehicle elsewhere so as not to block the street. He indicated in was OK with the city, he pays assoc. fees, etc. I believe this is likely in violation of 15.32.060. I'm attaching two pictures including one from this afternoon. Thank you for your attention and two visits to the area. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. (apparently I can only send one at a time.)

Dear City of Bloomington Representative, Last night’s torrential rain brought a lot of water down our driveway from the street, some of which eventually ended up in our finished basement. We've lived at this address since 2009, and this has been a problem we've lived with since then. We’ve spent almost $15,000 on waterproofing our basement, installing storm drains at the bottom of our driveway, halfway down our driveway, and installing a berm on top of the driveway. Still, water that runs down the Anita Street takes a hard right into our driveway and overwhelms our systems. Anita Street slopes south to north, after it has turned from the east to west slope of East 2nd street. We believe a majority of the water coming down Anita Street actually ends up in our driveway. A lot of the water from the street also collects in the yard of our neighbor, Allyson Youat Schnable. Water that has come into our basement has damaged equipment, furniture, boxes and their contents, and is a threat to our foundation. I believe we have exhausted our options to comprehensively deal with the amount of storm water that is presented to us. We would love for the city to address the water coming down the street. Can you look at installing a dead end sign at the intersection of S. Hathaway Ct. and E. Cathcart Drive? Cars keep driving thru the neighborhood in an attempt to get to the parking lot at Southest Park and many turn around in the driveways of the houses on Hathaway.

Student roommates at 707 S Clifton repeatedly do not put their trash out - and when they do, after multiple weeks, it is not in keeping with the city's rules: overflowing cans spilling out, other containers not acceptable for pickup (are there even trash stickers affixed to the cans?). This is our second complaint. We have spoken with two of the tenants now, one of whom said he'd "get to it in a couple of days" and one of whom blamed his roommates for not taking care of the problem (he's on our side; he keeps telling them....). Attached are pictures from today, Easter Sunday April 16. This trash has been sitting for weeks, not put out for pickup. Perhaps it will be dealt with, for tomorrow morning. But I'm not holding my breath.
