An old house was demolished on Friday 7 Nov. It had been clad in cement tiles, likely asbestos-containing transite. It appears that there was no attempt to isolate the hazardous waste from the bulk, so is it now all classified as hazardous? If so, is the contractor required by the State to dispose of the mass of waste resulting from the demolition in a special way, or perhaps into a designated landfill that accepts such waste? Attached is a picture of tiles that were left strewn about on the alley (a public thoroughfare) after the demolishers drove away. In the days since, people and/or animals have been stepping on the tiles and crushing them, possibly releasing friable asbestos fibers. There is a dog living immediately across the alley from this now toxic site. Is it unsafe for the dog to walk on the ground in this area? Or does the City even care about such things? Maybe it would it be better to just look the other way and let the people with money do whatever they please (?)

Referring to case #203052, closed on 5/30/2025 as an ongoing enforcement case. License plate still is not current. Is from 2016 (used to be 1975 until last summer, when it was replaced), but this is not visible now because there is a glove hanging over the year sticker.

I am interested in completing your survey on possible alternatives to the current traffic configuration on Walnut and College but I cannot get it to load properly. Many students have to jaywalk every day here to catch a bus, and 99% of drivers don’t understand the situation. If you do a quick search, you'll realize this has been an ongoing safety issue for 5–6 years. I’ve raised it before (last year and again this year), but nothing has changed. Good Morning! There is a large deceased dear in the brush along the sidewalk/multi use path. It is between the railroad tracks and Eastgate Dr. It is not visible unless you are on foot. It is beginning to smell. Not terrible yet! I am not sure which department handles deceased animal cleanup. If this is the wrong department,please forward to the appropriate department

There is a restaurant named la Bodega right next to healing hands thrift store that has tree like landscaping on the walkways. They are basically blocking the sidewalks. One is on the ramp which makes it even more difficult for those with disabilities. I tried to remedy by discussing it with the restaurant but it seemed with they did not care or did not understand the problem with it.

Need pedestrian path marked on driveway of car dealer to connect sidewalk’s direction and to continue on sidewalk. Cars turning into this business are not aware of pedestrian right-of-way.
