The alleyway that runs behind our house at 422 East Cottage Grove, between 10th and Cottage Grove has been extremely dangerous this year. It is very dark and my car, and two of my roommate's cars have been broken into. There was also a car that suspiciously caught on fire and completely burned two nights ago. The alley behind my house is by far the most dangerous part of walking home at night, and I don't feel safe going to my car parked back there at night. We have also had attempted break-ins and many thefts from our porch and surrounding the house.

Hello, I'm reaching out on behalf of my employer Hanapin Marketing. We currently reside in the Showers complex at 501 N. Morton Street, and our employees share the Showers Red Parking Lot with County employees. Over the last 6 months, we have all noticed a rise in crime in the parking lot, particularly with theft. I've attached several police reports that have been filed in the last few months to support these claims. These are the incidents that were reported to the police, however, there have been others as well that were never filed. For example, in early January one of our employees had his door handle ripped off his car entirely. We are hoping that the city will notice this trend and assist us in our request to advocate for higher security and/or additional patrols in that area to deter thefts. On 8th St. in between Dunn and Indiana there are absolutely no street lights and it is pitch black at night. One block up the street (towards Grant) there are some but none on our side.

I would like to request the consideration of a streetlight for the block of N Fess Ave between E 9th St and E 10th St. I frequently walk through this block late on Thursday evenings, and it is the one block in the area that is truly dark. Other streets are well lit, but walking through this block is truly very dark and feels a bit unsafe. I've attached a photo of said block, although it's worth noting that my phone left the shutter open for longer when taking it, and thus in reality the block is darker than the photo would seem to indicate.

crows had attacked the back parking lot early Dec 17th. My wife and I cleaned up the back parking lot Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon I went to Lowes and bought two fake Horned Owls and placed them on my air conditioner units. The next day Dec 20th there were no signs of crow activity from the night before.

Encampment of houseless individuals taking up on public sidewalk behind tree planter every night. The area is blocked during their occupation and when they leave, copious amounts of trash, discarded belongings, syringes etc are left behind to be cleaned up by others. The public defecation that takes place is a public health hazard.
