City street tree blocking on street parking ar 105 North Roosevelt Street. Tree is on south property line of 107 North Roosevelt street. Tenants of 105 have on street parking only and it is not possible in front of the I crouching tree. Please let me know what you will do to take care of the issue. Thank you.
I strongly feel there are many streets in Bloomington that are not sufficiently lit and pose danger to drivers and pedestrians. Many side streets off of Third Street Woodlawn, Faculty, Arbutus, Rose, and others have almost no light once you turn off from Third Street. This makes it difficult to see pedestrians and increases the chance of accidents.
I sent this email to Mr. VanDeventer approximately four months ago and have heard nothing--no response whatsoever. Can you please help this tax payer get a street sign replaced that's been missing for almost two years. Also, there is a flickering street light on the east end of the Cheyanne Lane cul-de-sac that is off more than it is on. Mr. VanDeventer, Approximately four months ago I called the City street department to report a missing street sign. I can understand why replacing street signs is not a high priority for your department, but the sign has been gone for over a year plus the four months since I reported it. The street light in front of my house (2102 S. Georgetown Rd.) has been out for several months. I reported it here in early July, but it has not been fixed.
The street light at the corner of Kingsley and Meadow in the Fritz Terrace neighborhood has been out for a week or so.

A tree fell on power lines next to Willows Apartments. It must've happened during the last storm. It's been several days and no one has done anything, so I wanted to make sure the City knew about it. Potentially hazardous, also blocks sight when pulling out of the Willows Apartments.
A couple of weeks ago, the city (I assume it was the city) cut down a large tree along High Street, a short distance north of Hillside. They left these logs perched precariously on a bank, where it looks as if they are in danger of tumbling into the street, in the path of some unsuspecting motorist. I assumed they'd be safely cleared away quickly, but a couple of weeks have gone by and they're still there.
