Location: 611 E State Road 45,46 Bypass and 711 to a lesser extent. There is gravel and sand on the driveways of these homes at the junction of the sidewalks. This makes it difficult for the bicycle riders to ride throughout it. I assume it is the responsibility of the owners to clean it up. If you could give them a call, maybe that would help. The 611 address is very bad and the 711 address is moderate. On the positive side, your department has been doing an excellent job of cleaning up the limestone chunks that fall down on the sidewalk further east where you had to cut through the stone for the new highway. Hi: I am just wondering who is responsible for street/landscape maintenance along certain streets in the city and county that I travel often. Along Smith Rd., just north of Hillside, there was a lot of brush that has been cut down but nothing else and an ugly partial fence is still standing. The new roundabout at Sare Rd. and Rogers….who is responsible for maintaining the landscaping that was installed. It is a bunch of weeds right now. Along south Highland, just north of Rogers, there is a curve that is alway full of potholes and the street and sidewalk are a mess. On Sare Rd., at the entrance to Hyde Park, who is responsible for a mess of grass clippings that is always left after the grass is allowed to grow very, very long. It is still there. Two yellow traffic signs on Covenanter between Nota and Pickwick, across from 2215 are half 'eaten' by a huge hedge. Maybe the hedge can be trimmed. Before long the hedge will also 'eat' half the sidewalk.

Thd sidewalk at the corner of 3rd St and Swain is in very bad condition. MAC restaurant used to be at that corner but Mother Bear's is now in that spot. I asked Mother Bear's who would fix the sidewalk and they thought it was the responsibility of the city. The sidewalk has been in bad shape for a long time and is a hazard to those of us who use it regularly to walk to campus.

Pothole on Heritage (off E 3rd St) close to house #116. Heritage is dark at night, and therefore can be dangerous for the pedestrian. Also, huge overgrowth of foliage on sidewalk in front of 3813 E 3rd St. Obstructs the sidewalk. I noticed that when I get off the bus on E 3rd, in front of Century's building, the sidewalk ends rather than helps the pedestrian reach the corner of Smith Rd so that I can cross to get to E Morningside Dr. This is unacceptable for the pedestrian.

Caller wanted us to know there is a hole in the sidewalk on Fairview between Patterson & Allen (next to the playground at the Great Harvest Church). He said is is large enough that someone could trip and get injured.

The sidewalk on the south side of the street between the BLine trail and Morton street has an accumulation of sand at the midpoint. The amount is enough to prevent being able to walk on that section of the sidewalk. thank you!
