Spring Branch Rd was not included in the most recent repaving of the neighborhood. There are several bad potholes and the road does not match the quality of the other neighborhood roads.
I believe that the street markings for the N. Pete Ellis Dr. and E. 10th St. stoplight should be changed. Often, drivers use the "turn right only" lane to go forward through the intersection because a car which intends to turn left has held up traffic. This can create a dangerous situation where cars disregard the street markings in order to get through the intersection in a timely manner. I suggest that the outside most lanes of E. 10th St. be marked as the straight and right turn lanes and the inside lanes become left turn-only lanes. Secondly, because of the amount of pedestrian traffic around Fountain Park (because of the Bus Stop) I suggest that there be Pedestrian crossing buttons installed at the intersection. Multiple large potholes (1 is very deep) in southbound lane of Sare Rd.
Corner of Dunn and 3rd street, need to place an additional "no turn on red sign" next to signal light. Many people turn right onto 3rd street from Dunn in front of on-coming traffic.
Pot holes are becoming quite large in the alley on the north side of One City Centre, 120 W 7th Street. Thank you.
West 3rd Street from S Rogers to Patterson is a narrow residential street. Lots of trucks use this street. W 3rd. St. is designated “neighborhood residential street” in the Bloomington Transportation Plan which means “low speed and low volume”. There is a sign east of Rogers on 3rd. that says “No through trucks on 3rd St” but it is old and very faded. New sign needed. Also it might be effective to have a sign at Jackson and 3rd also. There are branches that are facing the roadway across from the Lower Cascades ball fields. There is one particular branch that is hitting our school buses. Please help us with this.
The intersection of E 10th St/SR 45 and Pete Ellis Drive is extremely dangerous for cars, cyclists, and pedestrians The stoplight needs a left turn signal for all four directions of travel, and a push-button activated walk signal. In addition, the two lanes of 10th Street need to be apportioned to a right straight/right turn lane, going both east and west, and a lefthand left turn lane.
