Numerous fire extringuishers are nearing a month past their expiry date.
The noise from Organized Living (or Catalent, I'm not sure which one) is so loud I can hear it in every room with a window in my apartment well past 10 pm nightly (even past 2-3 am). The only places it is not audible are the bathrooms and closets with the doors closed. Is there anything that can be done about this?
Why was feedback on the mural at 11th & rogers only asked for with simply one design submitted? And to that point, why was feedback submitted not taken? Public sees absolutely no changes to the proposed design and leaves us feeling the same way when the gateway was decided unilaterally at miller park. At least in that instance council stepped in to halt the design. Is the artwork at hopewell going to be treated the same way? Public feedback submitted but has no impact on actual result for our neighborhoods and city? Disappointing.
Thank you to the city council for unanimously disapproving Ordinance 2024-18 – To Amend Title 8 of the Bloomington Municipal Code, Entitled “Historic Preservation and Protection” to Establish a Historic District – Re: Green Acres Conservation District (Green Acres Historic Designation Committee, Petitioner)
One lime bike was left on the sidewalk, blocking the accessibility ramp for wheelchair sidewalk access. The scooter has been there for two days.
Bird bicycle P3IKF abandoned on Dunn north of 12th Street close to RR fence.
Bird bicycle VUB1B lying by sidewalk south side of 8th halfway between Washington and Lincoln, west of alley.
Blocked stop sign- I have posted this before, when a food truck parks on Kirkwood in front of the library near Lincoln (north side of the street) the stop sign for west bound traffic is obscured. In the 5 minutes I have been watching, 4 cars have completely run the stop sign. If the sign was in the small planter bed closest to the street or mounted on the same pole as the street sign, this might be avoided. Or at a minimum post no parking sign for tall vehicles. Thanks!
