In the alley adjacent to Bloomington Center for Global Children at 1111 North Walnut Street, traffic often travels both ways. As a parent who picks up a young child there, I am keenly aware of the danger presented by a two way alley adjacent to a child care center. I am requesting that this alley be made one way with traffic control as well, as the traffic traveling north on Walnut street presents another danger to those individuals turning west into the alley next to the center.

On March 2, 2016, I submitted a question about the lack of painted crosswalks for pedestrians crossing 3rd Street at Jordan Avenue. I received a prompt reply from Matt Smethurst, saying that the intersection would be torn up soon for stormwater improvements, and the crosswalks would be completed after that. There was indeed work completed over the summer, and the curbs now look very nice, but almost a year after my original question, there are still no crosswalks painted in the street. Are they going to appear sometime?

Traffic signal at E Third St and Kingston Dr. has timing issues, observed daily for over a week: east/west signal activates left-turn indicator each cycle, when no cars have been in the left turn lane; north/south green light stays on for two minutes, even when no traffic is present for most of that time. I have observed significant traffic delays because of these timing issues. Thank you for checking.

Is it possible to install one of the temp speed signs on Renwick Blvd? Residents in the neighborhood routinely drive over 40 mph and there are many children and pedestrians on the road throughout day. Also, the speed limit sign before you reach East Moores on Renwick is blocked by a tree.

Hello, The stop lights at the intersections of Jordan and Atwater, and the intersection at 3rd and Jordan, are not synced. As a result, people driving to and from campus get hit by both stop lights. They used to be synced up with one another so drivers would make both lights if they were traveling east or if they were traveling west. Now, no matter what, you'll have to stop at one of them. Also, the green turn arrow light always comes on at the intersection of Jordan and 3rd, even if there is no traffic. This creates weird delays for people trying to leave campus. I know these complaints of mine are trivial, I'm not sure how much it would take to re-sync the stop lights. But I've worked on campus for years and it was perfect - now this happens and hundreds of people have to stop for 2 separate stop lights 4 or 5 times a day when it used to be zero stops.

Is there any way to get the length of green light (and especially left turn signal) lengthened on Kinser Pike southbound at the intersection with 46? Nearly all the traffic to and from North HS is now being routed through this intersection now that 37/69 has closed most access points near the school. This has resulted in long delays to get through that intersection and turn onto 46 from Kinser. Currently the left turn light only lasts long enough for a maximum of 3 vehicles to get through (fewer if one is a school bus). It is not unusual for it to take me 7-10 minutes to get from Skyline Drive onto 46 around 7:45am or in the afternoon when school lets out. Please consider setting the signal time to a longer setting. Traffic on Bloomfield Road (2nd Street) is backed up for about a mile heading out of town (traffic backed up past Landmark) & a half-mile coming in to town (backed up to 37), all waiting on the light at the Sportsplex/apartment complex The traffic light is only giving people on Bloomfield road about 5-10 seconds to get through the light, while the green light for people exiting the Sportsplex lasts about 30-40 seconds - but there's nobody going in or out of the Sportsplex! Could somebody PLEASE take a look at the program/timing of this traffic light?
