Hello, I work at Teach and Play ABA and it’s owned by Sara Shrivastav. She sent us an email in regards to the fire safety issues that she was made aware of and she hasn’t any intentions of making changes as of right now. I’m concerned because we’ve already had a fire in the facility and it was very poorly handled. I’m worried for the safety of myself, coworkers and children at the facility. She wrote us an email saying we are not allowed to let you in the building and it’s just very concerning to me. She has already opened two more facilities and they also don’t have sprinklers or fire alarms and I ultimately just want to make sure we’re in a safe environment. I’m also not sure if it’s structurally sound. She did a lot of the remodeling by herself so if there’s anyway someone could check that and make sure things are up to standard because she had mercury lightbulbs which caused the first fire, I would really appreciate that. Thank you for taking the time to address my concerns regarding this matter.

I am an employee of Teach and Play ABA owned by Sara Shrivastav and I am aware that she has been told that she needs to put sprinklers and fire alarms in the facility for our safety and the children’s safety, but she has still not done that and as far as I know she has no plans to and is not taking it seriously. We have already had a fire in the building and there was 0 plan in place and was not done up to standard which makes me very concerned for the safety of myself and the children we serve. If you’re able to come as soon as possible I would appreciate that. I am choosing to submit anonymously because I don’t want to risk losing my job for reporting, but it is a safety issue that I believe needs to be addressed immediately. There is a vehicle that parks on the sidewalk at this location almost daily, preventing bike and foot traffic from utilizing the sidewalk.

Tenant recycles for a living, but he stores stuff all over his front and side yards. He also relocates bicycles and scooters. It detracts from the beauty of the neighborhood.

Car AGAIN parked in the grass. City addressed this earlier this year. They know better. Please contact them to remove. Not a good "entry" to the neighborhood look.

I believe there may be an underground water main leak at the T intersection of N. Plymouth Road and E. Sheffield Dr. in Park Ridge East. (I live on Plymouth) There has been some muddy water coming up through the pavement for a couple days. Nothing gushing up, but enough to create a small bit of water to stand there and to run in the gutter. There was a water main break there a few years ago and a repair. As I said, water is not shooting or gushing up, yet, but it is something that probably should be checked soon.
