There is a huge pothole in the Monroe Convention Center auxiliary parking lot, just west of the b-line trail, and just north of the paved road that connects the two parking lots. The pothole is a very significant safety hazard, and should be filled in immediately. Please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you.

Adding to the requests about the street lights, we noticed last night that all of the lights in the neighborhood seem to have been replaced with harsh white LED fixtures.
At a minimum these need diffusers or something, the naked LEDs are very harsh and hurt the eyes of pedestrians. It would also be great if there were shields or something directing the light down, as currently they are unshielded.
Honestly having the old lights back would be a massive improvement, but given how unlikely that is please consider these other mitigations. The light pollution from these lights is very unpleasant.

Hello! I recently noted that the streetlight outside my house seems to have been changed out for a really horrible glaring and harsh cool-toned one. it was previously a lovely and classy warm shade of orange. can you confirm if this light was actually recently changed? hopefully i am wrong and it’s just malfunctioning somehow. if the city has in fact switched the warm toned bulbs for cool ones, is there a way to have it switched back? my street looks like a soviet prison camp now :(
thank you!

Was the streetlight at W Smith and S Jackson st recently replaced with an LED fixture? It is really excessively bright, there was nothing wrong with the existing streetlight. Please turn down the brightness of the light of at all possible, thank you.

The tree in my neighbor's yard at 621 W 4th St has been falling on my yard, limb by limb for over a decade. This time, a limb about 13 inches in diameter and over 10 ft in length fell. a newly planted evergreen tree sustained significant damage. In the past there has been damage to our siding, a gutter and each time has broken things on our porch. I am terrified that a limb will fall on a person or that the whole tree will come down on the back of our house, which is where we sleep. I'm also worried about the cost to replace the over $3000 worth of trees and shrub we have planted in the last 4 years and more importantly the impossibility to replace the growth on all of these. The tree is a dangerous nuisance and I would like to know if the city might urge the owner to at least trim out the dead stuff, if not cut down the whole tree.

Trash is overflowing containers behind house (on Fairview). There are needles on the ground a few feet from a public sidewalk where young children pass by. They have been there well over a week. No one seems to be staying at the house right now.
