Organic debris post storm
Organic debris post storm
A tree in the city easement area behind my parents house at 1009 S. Grant fell down and broke their fence and is now in their yard. I have been unable to find the rules applying to this sort of issue and would greatly appreciate any help for them. Thank you
Storm debris tree branches
Storm debris clean up crew came by today, and using heavy equipment for the clean up, dug up part of the lawn, pulling up a mature tree root, too. Also left branches and storm debris that was not picked up. Can they please remediate this, and also take the rest of the debris? Thank you.
Street light at this location turns on and off all night long. Turns on, almost comes to full power, then blinks out. Number on pole is 1009 West 11th St. THANK YOU!
Cars routinely stop or stand in the bike lane on Third Street anywhere between Jordan and Indiana Avenues. This forces bikes into the "car" travel lanes and makes a dangerous situation for everyone--all at the cost of inconsiderate, and frankly lazy, motorists who are waiting to pick up friends from class. Bloomington and IU Parking Enforcement is unable to do anything about this epidemic since these vehicles are not actually "parked," but instead standing or stopped. IUPD and BPD don't do anything about it because I'm sure there are more important things going on out there that deserve their attention. The presence of some physical barriers or police enforcement would be effectively in keeping cars out of the bike lanes. Vince Carristo emailed me about a year ago stating that the City was looking into physical barriers, but I haven't seen anything deployed. Thanks for your help. Without doing something about cars standing in the bike lanes, Third Street isn't really a viable bicycle route--at least during the day on weekdays.
When stopped on Adam Hill St to make a right or left hand turn on Country Side you can not see oncoming traffic because of tree foliage. I request that the trees on Country Side street be trimmed to allow motorist to see oncoming traffic. This intersection is in a school zone.
A large, event-sized tent with fully closed sides is setup in Seminary Park.
Resident came by that wanted a U-Report filed. She stated there is a Walking light out at the corner of College & Kirkwood, but the main light works.
My car bumped a stop sign and it tilted about 10 degree...
