I am writing to bring attention to an issue I am facing as a new homeowner at 909 W Cardinal Ct, Bloomington, IN. There is a runoff in my backyard that originates from a creek in a nearby park. This runoff significantly affects the usability of my property, as I am unable to extend my backyard or fully maintain the lawn beyond my fenced-in area due to flooding. As the homeowner, I am responsible for cleaning and mowing the area on the other side of the fence, but i cannot access this space due to the water accumulation. I have reviewed the blueprint and property lines (LOT 4), and I do not believe there should be a body of water running through my backyard. I am also aware that my neighbors have previously complained about this issue, and I would like to resolve it so that I can fully enjoy and utilize my entire property. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter, as I am paying a substantial mortgage but am unable to fully access my entire property. Hi! There’s a really large tree right across the street from our house that is totally rotten out and dead on one side and leaning towards our house. I’m terrified it will fall on us. I talked to a parks employee today who said he also sent an email. Hopefully it can be taken down asap, thank you!

There is a tall tree in Butler park across the street from our house. We have noticed that it’s rotted out and leaning towards our house. We are concerned that it could come down in a storm and impact our home. We would like to request that this tree be removed. Thank you!

I am requesting a Neighborhood Compliance Officer confirm there are only 3 unrelated adults living at this address. Owners of this property are Tamas and Nora Czar, Landstuhl, Germany. This request is being made due to : 1. Observing 5 vehicles connected to this address (3 white sedans, a truck , and an SUV). 2. There being an overall unusual amount of cars parked in the northern half of this block, parking on both sides of the street since August 2024, with a daily average of 12 cars.

The sidewalk in front of our house has many cracks. Some of the places it is cracked are raised up a few inches which can cause tripping. In addition, we have pipes that run under our sidewalk and out to the street to connect to the main sewer. The clay pipe that runs under the sidewalk has roots growing into it. In order to replace the pipe we need to take out the sidewalk. We are hoping that since the sidewalk needs replacing anyway, the city could let us know when the sidewalk will be torn up and replaced so we can have our plumber ready to replace the pipe while the sidewalk is up. Thank you for staying in communication with us about when the sidewalk will be replaced with a safer one.

On the trail through the middle of Bryan Park, just east of the boardwalk, there is a low hanging branch. It's even lower when it's wet. It's too low to safely bike under it and even someone who is not tall has to duck to walk under it. It should be taken down.
