There is a used car/truck business combined with a body shop business in our residential neighborhood. I believe the address is 1306 South Palmer Avenue, but I'm not sure of that number. If you come to the 1300 block of South Palmer Avenue, you cannot not notice what I'm talking about. Used cars and pickup trucks are routinely delivered, then refurbished at this, and then sold. This kind of activity should never be allowed in a residential neighborhood. I'm a homeowner living nearby, I pay city taxes to live in this neighborhood, and I beseech you to stop this illegal activity. This area is not zoned for business, it is not an industrial area; it is a neighborhood. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I expect a resolution to this problem soon.
The trees are hanging over the sidewalk so low that you have to duck to get by. It is not a well lit road and at night it is dangerous with people running into the branches hanging down.
There is an abandoned car that has parked beside by house since May. I live at 1300 S. Madison Street. The car is on Driscoll Street, beside my driveway. It is a teal Toyota Camry with Wisconsin plates, 937 LVA. The car has not been moved since May; I have asked around the neighborhood, and no one claims it. It is blocking my available street parking. The Sare Rd north left turn arrow continues to malfunction. I reported this several weeks ago. Last three times thru the intersection I've witnessed the malfunction. The left turn arrow cycles green when there are no cars turning left and stays green for an entire minute, backing southbound traffic up on S. College Mall Rd. In fact, last night there were absolutely no cars in any of the three northbound lanes on Sare and the left turn arrow still cycled on for over a minute. Please advise.
Northbound left turn signal on Sare Rd at Moore's Pike intersection continues to cycle green for 10 seconds when there are no cars on the loop.
