The drainage ditch behind our property and to the east was never properly engineered to handle all the water from rains and multiple neighborhoods.It overflows and leaves properties too wet to mow for weeks as well as the trees standing in the water are dying and falling which is a dangerous situation for the neighborhood. This standing water is a health and safety hazard as a breeding ground for mosquitoes.And it can not be mowed properly .The neighborhood applied for a grant last year but it was denied.It has been dug out a few years ago by the city but without proper method used to apply rock to maintain the ditch open the problem just re occurs with it growing over and does not stay open to handle the water and it floods again .

Hello, I contacted earlier this week because many people in the West Point neighborhood (Woodhill and S. Larkspur) did not shovel their abutting sidewalks. Well, again, 24 hours after this second snowfall many people have not shoveled. Now the snow is very high in this neighborhood. Please help get people to shovel here. Hello. The team came today to fix the potholes in the street, thank you! However, there is a 10" deep hole in the sidewalk between 1208 and 1202 E. 1st Street that they said has to be filled with gravel or concrete instead of patched with the material they were using. The person from the City suggested I file another request to have someone come and fill the hole. The hole is directly inline with driveway access and is deep enough to cause substantial vehicle damage, so I am requesting this hole be filled with gravel or concrete. Thank you.

3 fire hydrants in Hearthstone Village covered when City snow plows pushed snow off streets. 3 hydrants in the end of each court, between 1204-1209 and 1312-1310 (Hearthstone) and at the corner of the access road and Bridgestone. The one at 1204-1209 is especially problematic. --see attached pic --there is a hydrant somewhere under that pile of snow!

It is my plan to develop my 5 lots on N. Oolitic. I can't do that unless I have help with enforcing certain codes. 1209 W. 11th has garbage, rubbish, old lawnmowers, and other detritus stacked on and around the house and property. I actually think the house may be abandoned and is being used as a trash dump. Regardless of the section of town, we property owners don't like our property value destroyed by places like this. Please help us by forcing a clean up. Thank you.
