The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. Speed limit sign (30) is down. Lying in lawn just south of Hillside. Two driveways immediately after intersection. People drive at high speed. Please reinstate speed limit sign and consider a “slow” for pedestrians or a driveway sign. Thank you!! We welcome a speed bump at this location.

Hello! I live at 1020 e Thornton, but I noticed this area off Huntington Dr. Has a HUGE amount of Japanese knotwood, which is a highly invasive plant. I was wondering if any action could be taken to try to eradicate it before it takes over the entire neighborhood? We also have plenty of other invasives around...perhaps you could guide me on any resources to address this. Thanks so much!!
