Traveling west on Kirkwood, turning left onto Adams, there is a speed limit sign of 25 MPH. Continuing west on 3rd street, there are no other speed limit signs until you get in front of the Cozy Table restaurant. That sign is 35 MPH. There are signs going the other direction, indicating 35 MPH, all the way. Is this the way this street is supposed to be signed? By the way, in case no one noticed, the typical speed of traffic on west 3rd is about 45 MPH.

Several months ago I almost had an accident while going west on 3rd St. and turning left on College. I did not see a car coming east on 3rd St. Last week I was going east on 3rd and was coming up from the overpass and I understood why I previously did not see the car I almost hit. The slope of the street and the plant pots obstruct seeing cars. You might consider removing the pots to allow for a better view in both directions.

Hello, I have lived at 410 West Dodds Street, between Rogers and Madison since 2001. I'm very happy here and would like to stay in this neighborhood. My mom lives at 302 West Dodds. One thing that has always been a concern to me and my family on this street how fast people drive on it. For some reason they they use the area between the B-line crossing and Rogers to step hard on the gas. I've emailed with the Mayor a few times over the years about this and have called the police a few times. Police driving by more often a few times does not help. With the new businesses on this street and the increased foot traffic (that I'm happy about) safety is becoming even more of a concern. Finally, my suggestion: Will you please direct me to the process of applying for speed bumps on this street? It would be much safer. I guarantee that most people in my neighborhood would vote for it. Turning left (south) from W Jacob Dr onto Gates Dr is tricky. A roundabout at that intersection would help. Also, 2nd St/Bloomfield Rd needs a makeover like 3rd St got. The intersections with Weimer Rd and with W Allen St are problematic. These are problems you're probably already aware of. Sorry.

1717 Circle Dr, Bloomington, IN. The grasses on the corner of Circle Dve and Ruby Lane make it difficult for a driver/cyclist coming to the intersection able to see oncoming traffic from the east? As a driver/cyclist you have to come out into the intersection to see if you can proceed. Can these be trimmed or the one closest to the corner removed to allow visibility?

I live on W. Ralston Drive, and many people drive through there to avoid the traffic on Tapp/Country Club. The problem is that they drive really fast, way over the speed limit of 30 mph. We don't have sidewalks and I often feel unsafe walking from my car or my house to my mailbox. My yard has a ditch out front so anyone walking in front of my house has to walk in the street, not in the yard. I would love to have speed bumps installed on our street. There are a lot of elderly people and young families. Thank you!

Hello, my child is a student at Ivy Tech Bloomington and has classes in two Ivy Tech locations that are across the street from each other on Liberty Dr. The concern is that she (and many students who don't have cars) must cross Liberty Dr at very busy times during the day to reach her next class, changing buildings. Please ensure there is School signage and a stop sign on Liberty Drive across the 2 Ivy Tech buildings so that the pedestrians/students can safely cross Liberty Dr when attending classes. The addresses of the 2 buildings are 1907 Liberty Dr, Bloomington, IN 47403 and 2100 Liberty Dr, Bloomington, IN 47403. Thank you.

At least half a dozen times since the new bike lanes were created on Third Street near Jordan Avenue, I have been driving westbound on Third Street, stopped at the light at Jordan, in the right lane, with my right turn signal on, only to have someone pass me on the right, driving in the bike lane (and sometimes proceeding to turn right on red at a "No turn on red" sign). I saw two cars in a row do this today. The lane markings seem clear enough to me, but a lot of people are evidently not understanding them. Can anything be done to make it clearer that that is not a drive lane?
