Hello: I am sick of seeing these vagrants walking by my house at the corner of College Street and West Hillside Drive. I spoke to an officer last Tuesday and requested more police car drive by’s, evidently it is not working. I appreciate it, if more police cars can be visible in this neighborhood, behind the Switchyard Park, which drives them in. Please put a barrier on College Street and the South Side of the park by the Walnut Street side of the SWITCHYARD Park Parking Lot where the vagrants enter and exit with back packs and bicycles going through the Railroad Park neighborhood where your police department and YOU ignore for safety. I’ve reported this issue to Governor Braun, Erin Houchin US Representative of the House of Representatives and US Senator Todd Young. Please feel free to visit me at 117 W.Hillside Drive in your fair city for a front yard porch chat to watch all the “traffic “ go by my house. Thank you, Maryann Iaria 117 W. A car is continuously parked in the yard. Mostly evenings and weekends but also many weekdays.
Trash cans left on side of road after pickup. Does this reporting work? I've been reporting this issue at this address for 5 straight weeks and nothing has been done about it. They refuse to move the cans away from the street. This is a lousy system.
At approximately 4:14pm today (2/18/26) I was riding my bicycle in the bike lane on North College across from Square Donuts. Bus #2506, Route #6 (women with black hair) was stopped on the bike lane at the BT bus stop. I went around her into the lane of traffic. As I was going around her, she started pulling out at the time I was just behind her left shoulder. Her window was open, so I alerted her that I was there. I thought she would slow down or stop but instead she accelerated as she looked at me. She could have cared less. I got the look from her that said my bus is bigger you stop. I did stop abruptly almost wrecking in traffic otherwise she would of ran over me or further pushed me into traffic. Please email me what your resolution was as I will follow up.
Please keep Kirkwood open to pedestrians and not cars during the pleasant weather season. This aligns with purported City goals and frankly is the only walkable shopping area for our municipality. An ordinance was passed with the presumption it would stay open to pedestrians.
This car has been parked in our lot for a month. License plate: 839CLY
Dog constantly in yard, barking. Some days worse than others.
