To Whom It May Concern! I wanted to say thank you to the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department for trimming the low hanging branches on the two very large Oak trees near the entrance to Mills Pool off of Blair Ave. They not only look amazing, but its so much easier to access the park area under and around the trees when walking my dog. I know its much easier for the pool customers to use the sidewalk as well as get to their cars when parked along the curb on the exit of the main parking area. So, thank you. I'm asking and suggesting that the same tree limb pruning be done on the four very large Oak trees on the south end of the park area on the corner of Blair and Dyer. I, as a homeowner on Blair Ave. along with other residents use this area to walk our dogs and other outdoor activities. These branches are a hindrance to not only our enjoyment of the area, but to the city employee's who mow the park area. I've watched them navigate the low hanging branches so they don't get hit in the face and have to bend all the way over so their head is near their feet on the mower pedals just to mow the area. This seems very dangerous for them and I'm concerned for their safety as well as the overall ease of use for the area. Would you please consider pruning those limbs up just as you had done on the two trees to the north of the property. If you can do this and possibly while your at it, there is a very large yew right in front of the pool that had 3/4 of it removed last year. It's now a 1/4 of a living yew with nothing but weeds growing around it because it can't be mowed. This seems not only unsightly to the overall ambiance of the area, but really just dosen't look that good making the approach to Mills Pool rather uninviting. I did leave a voicemail with the Natural Resources Coordinator regarding this issue and had not heard anything. It's possible a plan is in place and I mention this so you can coordinate with that department. Once again, thank you for taking care of the two trees on the north end. They are truly majestic and make our community park and pool look magnificent. Gratefully! Mike Stribling mikestribling@hotmail.com 812-964-0846

One of the two infant swings is broken in Schmalz Farm Park. The broken swing is unsafe and has very sharp edges for little children. Hopefully the swing can be replaced before long.

Hello! I am an avid Bryan Park runner. I've noticed that the water fountain near the tennis courts frequently does not work. You can push the button but no water pops up. Sometimes you have to push it 8+ times for it to start working, but sometimes this doesn't even work. Thanks for looking into it!! -Beth Billingsley

Many of humans at the Ferguson Dog Park do not know how to use the T-valve to turn on the water, or that spray will cool and clean their dog. Please post instructions, or use a magic marker to point the way.

Could you please tell me where I can find the pdfs listed on page 39 of the Switchyard Park Master Plan? For example, I would like to access this report: https://bloomington.in.gov/media/media/application/pdf/57.pdf. It appears to be no longer available, and nor do others on the page. Thank you.

Push Place looks like it hasn't had any maintenance since it was created in 1990. It's rusting and the ground covering is disintegrating. I tried looking in the Parks and Rec master plan to see whether there were any plans to upgrade it. But that plan is almost unreadable. When you zoom in to enlarge the letters, you can only see the middle of each of the displayed pages. You say it's a community park, but it doesn't get the kind of attention that other community parks get. This is two complaints: 1) about the condition of the playground and 2) about the condition of your web site.

To whom it may concern, Hello, My name is John Rodriguez. I'm a student from Mount Pleasant High School in Northeast Texas. For our Engineering Program, a couple of students and I, have been aiming to place a concrete slides in one of our local parks. We've contacted a manufacturer and asked for a list of previous customers who own one similar to the one we are considering. Thus I am here with an inquiry. I was wondering if you could give me a direct contact (Email or Phone Number), to someone in the parks department or someone who would know information, pertaining to your concrete slide, particularly things like maintenance and operation. We are compiling a list of comments and reviews for the embankment concrete slide so we can present it to our city for better consideration from them. We would greatly appreciate your assistance Sincerely, John G. Rodriguez

Can we get a second picnic table for the park ridge East Park shelter? One is lonely and there's definitely room for a second smaller one.
