Good morning. Cardinal Spirits, LLC is in need of an extra day of recycling pick-up throughout the week. Our business causes our recycling dumpster to fill up very quickly and often times we over flow or are unable to put more recycling away due to the dumpster being full.
Someone seems to have taken our recycling container. I heard the truck go by around 11 AM. Just went out to get the container, and it is gone.
I was crossing walnut and miller drive light today on my walk signal when a city of Bloomington trash truck nearly ran me over. If I hadn't jumped back in time I would be dead right now. I had the right of way as it was at the crosswalk on the walk signal. They never even slowed down. I am requesting if there is any surveillance of this light if it could be looked at around 12:30pm on 5/27. I was too shook up to get a number or anything from the truck but I feel this is something that should be brought up to the drivers of the truck that they need to look out for legally crossing pedestrians.
When our recycling bin was sat down by the city truck this morning the wheel fell off. The plastic tube holding the tire broke. I left the can and parts by the street so someone from your department can pick it up, fix it or replace it. Our bin number is 0917026479. 835 W. Rosewood Drive, Bloomington, IN 47404. Please update what plastics are accepted as recycling. I don't believe plastic bags are accepted anymore.
Please update your recycling page for what is acceptable. It still says plastic bags can be thrown in the bin but I don't believe that's true.
Please remove the trash ( orange construction barrel) in the wildlife habitat at Sare Road / Creeks Edge Drive. And ask Streets/ Sanitation if they got the complaint ticket I filed WEEKS ago about it
My recycling bin disappeared last week between when I put it out on the curb Sunday night and when I got home Monday afternoon. My trash bin is still here. I had hoped that a neighbor had taken it accidentally and would return it, but it has not shown up yet and I’m afraid it was stolen.
