I wonder what can be done about 2102 E. Wimbleton Lane in southeast Bloomington. No one has lived there a several years. Someone does cut the lawn, but the house is aging and in disrepair. In the past months, the gutter over the garage is falling off and the house is becoming a real eye-sore. Can anything be done to locate the owners and have them keep up maintenance on the house? The vacant northwest parcel located at the Countryside Lane and Starview Lane intersection is severely overgrown with noxious weeds and grass. Snakes and rodents are frequently seen in the area and many small children live in nearby homes.

229 W 1st St. Brownfields building along the B-line trail. Structure open to unlawful entry at two doorways and 2 windows. Used as a "shooting gallery" for intravenous drug use. 10 uncapped syringes collected from this building 8-21-19 by MC Health Dept. Interior littered with trash and feces. This is an attractive nuisance and a hazard to the public. Children witnessed exploring the interior subject to accidental needle sticks.
