the western end of Morningside Drive--west of Smith Road--has long been unsafe because there are no sidewalks. There are several families with young children, many residents walking dogs and walking to the park, and sidewalks would greatly improve general safety. thanks.

I would like to request sidewalks/speed bumps on Elliston Dr. in Sherwood Oaks Neighborhood. Elliston is the main thourough fair to Sherwood Oaks Park, Jackson Creek Trail and Olcott Park, which also leads to Childs Elementary and Jackson Creek Middle School. There is significant foot traffic daily of adults, kids and pets being walked. Children go to school on this route and yet there is nothing provided to keep them safe. There are currently no sidewalks to keep foot traffic safe and no speed bumps to slow down traffic. People speed through this area whether local traffic or visitors to the park and what the city has done to date is not enough. Someone is going to get hurt and it will be on the onus of those who have chose to do nothing to keep pedestrians safe. Please consider making a change and putting sidewalks/speed bumps in to allow for safe travels for all in this area.
Thank you

The hedges of this property are overgrown and block access to the sidewalk. This is a chronic issue - please remedy with homeowner (it's a rental unit). Thanks!

While there are multiple street lights in this area, none of them are turned on before sunrise, which is later and later every day now. When I walk to the bus stop every morning (around 7:15 am), the street is so dark I can barley see my own feet, and if not for a nearby back porch light the 6 bus stop (at Kinser Pike and the Arch) would be pitch black. Can't wait to see this fixed! Thanks so much!

Thank you for including staff on the announcement of this update. The interface is really clean and straight forward. I have included some of my suggestions and feedback from using the system below.
I just tried out the newly revised uReport system search box with terms for the most common issues facing our neighborhoods - and things I hear all the time. I got zero results for the following terms: dog, cat, deer, tree, car, noise, loud, park, car, and neighbor. I got hits for trash, abandoned, and sidewalk. I regularly direct neighbors to use the uReport system - but I'm not sure I would if they are not able to search for what they need. I would need to tell them to go to uReport and then click on Hazards, then Animal Control, etc. That seems like they are back at the will of our internal categorization. So why not go directly to the Animal Control?
Is there a way to add more search term tags to the major categories included? It was really discouraging as a searcher to have 0 results for something as common as dog or tree or noise - all very common issues in neighborhoods and dealt with by official depts or programs of the City.
I ended up clicking around in several of the designated circles to attempt to find how those issues would be categorized by this system - with only some success. I don't think my neighbors would spend time on the doing that.
Keywords would help a lot. I thought the original uReport had that feature.
I would also suggest that once the category is located, that the first thing you request is the issue or complaint, and not the contact info - especially since that is optional. Landing on that page did not feel like I had found what I was looking for - a way to voice my concern. I had two more clicks before I felt assured that I was in the right place. The system also did not correctly indicate my location - and that was another 30 seconds of trying to orient myself on the map and click and drag the indicator to my address.
Could you reverse that intake process? Photo and issue first, then location, then optional contact info? Seems more intuitive to me as the submitter.
I was not able to override the map to type in my location without clicking the X on the location bar. And when I did that, both the map and the "Next" button disappeared, leaving me in limbo. The only way back was to click the compass icon and start the search for my location again. Maybe some short instructional language at the top of each page would help guide folks through the intake process.
Also including a "back" button near the "next" button would help. I didn't associate the arrow icon at the top with my progression at the bottom. I assumed it would go back to the categories and lose what I had input so far. I was trapped into what I had input so far once I got to the 3rd screen. No way to refine my submission without starting over completely.
