Debris Removal (Sand, General Street Debris)
805 N Oolitic Dr, Bloomington, Indiana, 47404
- Case Date:
- 5/7/2019
In the attached photo of the property at 801 N. Oolitic St., I have circled the vehicle that I am referencing in this report. This vehicle does not operate and has been sitting, unmoved, for six months, if not a year. The vehicle is not directly on the street, it sits in the grass at the edge of the road - technically a city right-of way. Nevertheless....to quote city ordinance 15.04.020-Abandoned Vehicle(6) "Abandoned vehicle" means "A vehicle that is three or more model years old (it is), and mechanically inoperable (it is), and is left on private property continuously in a location visible from public property for more than twenty days (it absolutely is clearly visible from my property, every neighbors' property, and any passerby.) Whether anything like the engine, transmission, or differential has been removed is unknown to me, but it may also fit under definition (4) of "abandoned vehicle." This vehicle is an eyesore to myself and my neighbors. Please take the necessary measures to have it removed. Thank you.

52,000 dollars for a Night Mayor (Nightmare more like it). Thanks for nothing B-town. More like IU Student Housing City, IN. I suppose Mayor "Default" Hamilton can't function after 5pm or he'll turn into a pumpkin.

I witnessed a man getting sucker punched in front of blue bird nightclub shortly before 12;30am on June 22. Officer 67 arrived within a few minutes and placed handcuffs on the man who was sucker punched. I immediately told officer 67 that I saw the perpetrator walk down the alley, but officer 67 told me to get back and would not listen to me... while I was watching the perpetrator walk down the alley. Other witnesses were also telling officer 67 the perpetrator was getting away. Officer 67 acted emotionally in arresting the victim. It was wrong. I could identify the perpetrator.

Do the new water meters finally mean we can be billed by the gallon as opposed to the present archaic system of thousands of gallons, which is exceptionally adverse to water conservation incentives as well as basic economic fairness. Please say yes. It's such an easy change to make. Even X for every hundred gallons is a vast improvement and perhaps easier to transition to.
