On the west side of Park Square Drive the weeds have got extremely tall. It is a real issue trying to pull out of Highland Park school is a very dangerous situation as you can’t see traffic coming from the North. Weeds are almost as tall as street signs also posing as a traffic hazard.
Pothole south of 2520 E Second Street, on the south side of the street in the eastbound lane
gutters and sidewalks throughout the downtown are being overgrown with weeds
I own property at the lower end of Brooks Drive (1305). The section between where the cutout for my neighbor's drive and my property is covered by an easement I granted several years ago to the city. That section of pavement is badly in need of new blacktop as is the driveway on my property. I need to get some guidance about what I can do--and any help the city might provide. Hello. The stoplight on Kingstone and 3rd street does not work properly. It turns green on the mall side (on the 53rd bank side) every other time. Therefore, we have to wait for 2 change of lights before we could move. I have experienced that 5 times now. Today, it happened at 8:11 am.
The pedestrian walk signal on the north side of Kinser and the bypass has been smashed. Since the signal can't be activated, the green light is too short for a pedestrian to cross the bypass from the north side before the light changes. Given that many people cross there going from the Kroger carrying groceries, this is a hazard.
Pothole as you come out of the Needmore Coffee store, close to the corner of Pete Ellis.
Orange barrels on Winslow. These barrels are restricting traffic. Been there a week. NO WORK. This is ridiculous.
A yellow Watch for Pedestrian sign (and whole pole) was hit and knocked down and is now laying on ground. It's in the westbound lane on Country Club Road, right before the bridge over the creek (a little past the shopping mall with Lucky's Market).
