My neighbors loaded a box spring and several bags of trash out of their house about a month ago and it hasn't moved. At least one person walking down my alley dug through this garbage, as well as several animals. They are IU students who seem to have come back about once a week, but haven't taken any trash to the curb since graduation. It's now ripped open and blowing around their yard and the alley.

Loose trash all up and down the alley next to Function Brewing.
I just returned home from downtown Bloomington. Not one single sidewalk leading to a crosswalk has been shoveled. I found it quite dangerous to walk through the snow and ice to cross the street. I am required by law to clear my sidewalks within 24 hours after the end of a snow storm and do so religiously. Yet here it is three days after the end of the last storm and no effort has been made to clear the crosswalk sidewalks. Why must I obey the law if our own city government and mayor are aloud to violate this law. This is inexcusable not to mention discriminatory. Shame on Mayor Hamilton and his government. re: id=168983 and id=168611 Dee Wills referred to process of abatement of property. Where can I find an explanation of what that means? Also, I have asked in multiple reports if there is a City department or agency that can help me with the next door abandoned (for two years) swimming pool that is stagnant, attracting wildlife, and a perfect breeding place for mosquitoes?
trash in the public ROW at the south end of Manor Rd. near Weatherstone
Long’s Landing furniture E. St. Rd. 46 Bloomington The ceilings are falling in & the floors upstairs are unstable. When was this inspected in the past?
I just wanted to alert you to some defamatory, and possibly criminal, behavior demonstrated by the regional manager of Hunter Properties, one of the larger leasing companies in Bloomington. He's both personally insulting me after I pointed out the poor handling of a pool closure policy and threatening to put my IU teaching position in jeopardy because he doesn't like that I pointed out the office's mishandling of the matter to the office and online. As a housing office I would want to know about this happening in my city; thus, I'm alerting you. I'm happy to email the entire printed PDF since I know these files may not attach.
I live at 925 N. Madison St. I want to report that the tenants and or management of 910 N. Rogers St. haven't been taken care of the grass and it's waist high. I have seen rodent come out of the grass and it's becoming a problem for me, because these rodents try and sometimes get under my porch and die.
