There is a high need for a crosswalk and a traffic light at the Liberty drive entrance/exit into the area located at 2088 S Liberty Drive. An adult high school, The Excel Center, is opening in this location. Turning left onto Liberty is very dangerous at this spot as cards are often going quite fast around a curved road. As the director of the school, I am requesting a traffic light and cross walk at this area. Thank you!
I would like to know how to go about requesting speed bumps be placed on park ridge rd/bill mallory blvd.. along with local traffic we seem to have a lot of people cutting through from 3rd st and 446.
If I didn't hit the brakes on time, I would have been hit head on by a pickup truck today. Why? This construction barricade that is negligently placed where it obstructs traffic. I was heading north on Rogers approaching Country Club Drive in the left turn lane to turn west onto Country Club. Next thing I know, a big pickup truck is fully across the double yellow in my turn lane because the driver was avoiding this construction sign sitting in the south bound lane. I've had a lot of other times cars have come close to me in the turn lane. This truck was the worst. Considering how much traffic goes south on Rogers despite the construction at Gordon Pike, maybe this sign wouldn't be encouraging bad driving decisions throughout the day. Please move it.
Signage on S. Walnut St. going north from 2nd St. for a block or two is a confusing mess. Multiple "merge left" and "merge right" signs at the same location.
111? E. Kirkwood: Some sort of restaurant runoff (floor cleaning water?) is dumped from behind Opi Taylor's/Malibu. This goes on year round, but creates a sheet of ice in the winter (as it is today). The water runs/ices in front of an empty lot, so no one deals with the sidewalk. It's approx. 111? E. Kirkwood, just past the alley behind Book Corner, just at the start of the parking lot next to CVS. I originally reported this in 2017, I guess before it was cold. ureport#161324 and I was told it was runoff from an AC unit, which I think we can be sure is not the case in today's weather. I'm a daily walker from the near westside to campus. This is an ongoing problem. I really would like someone to just take some responsibility for either the initial liquid or the ice that results. Thank you :)
