Hello, Monroe Parks & Rec, This is just an FYI and hopefully an appeal for help. I contacted the sheriff’s office on Sunday, March 29, 2020 and since then the camping site looks to have expanded and the trash in the creek and along the road has increased. If you begin at the parking lot on Country Club and walk south on the gravel road that runs parallel to the trail, it takes about a 4-5 minute walk south to arrive at the spot. It is past the brush and next to the creek. There is a small orange tent and a large blue/green structure (I didn’t get too close), there is also something large in the creek that looks like bedding. Thank you for clearing the leaves from Park Ridge Park from the those beautiful but pesky large oak trees. Also, thank you for putting down grassseed and straw to aid in the park grounds maintence, helping to ensure that the park stays great for the next 20 years. People who are seemingly from different households continue to use park shelter at Park Ridge Park. Thank you for putting out a sign at the Park Ridge Park basketball court requesting that individuals and families pratice CDC guidelines with respect to maintining a physical distance of at least 6 feet from all non-household members. I feel like a similar sign would be appopriate at the shelter area of Park Ridge Park to remind park goers of their duties to the community to aid in stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Could you move bicyclists and runners off the trails at this time of social distancing? It's especially noticeable on the the popular B-Line Trail. Walkers are doing a good job staying apart, bicyclists and runners not so much. There's limited space and time to distance from runners and bicyclists going by - two groups who by the nature of their activity are more likely to be exhaling droplets. Those on bikes could easily use streets which are fairly free of traffic right now, and sidewalks likewise for runners.

The Bryan Park Tennis courts have been packed the last few days with people playing doubles Tennis not following the CDC guidelines. This a public health issue.

This has been ongoing for awhile and it's only getting worse and bricks loosen up and gravel is scattered. It's now less than 36" meaning that it doesn't pass ADA standards to be wide enough. It needs to be fixed before somebody falls and sues the City!

Our sub division Northwood Estates has been having a lot of trouble with drainage. It seems that the easements have overgrown scab trees & brush that may be blocking some water but it also seems as thoug your drainage system that takes the water to a creek needs to be cleaned out. We back up to the golf course & have trouble getting the golf course staff to maintain our side of the course, ie mowing, weeds, dead trees along the road,etc. We seem to be a bit neglected when it comes to these problems. You should put yellow tape around basketball courts so the bigger kids will understand social distancing etc. I walked past Bryan park courts there were 15 or so people playing basketball I doubt if they were all related

The sidewalk at the north edge of the Goat Farm is covered with mud.
