Hi. I live at 1418 S Palmer Ave. We are supposed to be able to park on the street in front of our house. However, the gravel has washed away and left a ditch that is impossible to park in (towards the far end in the photo). The result is that, when we park here, our cars are sticking out into the street more than they should be. Last week, my roommate's car was hit while parked here, which could in part be caused by this issue with the street parking area eroding. We are hoping that the City can come fill it with gravel or pave it so that we can park here without worrying about our cars sticking out into the street and getting hit. Thank you, Hannah

Since Catalent is using Twin Lakes/Sportsplex for additional employee parking, traffic on W 2nd St. has become very heavy and SLOW, especially at shift changes. Are there any plans to add traffic lanes or additional turn lanes to 2nd St and/or the entrance/exit to Twin Lakes? Catalent is currently adding another 600+ positions, which will probably add more vehicles and slower travel times through this area.

South bound lane,West side of street, going uphill, there is a prominent outward portion of the curbing. It is painted yellow, but now black from repeated contact by vehicle tires. It needs to be rounded off, and move toward the sidewalk. When I struck this prominent angled curb, it resulted in a blowout of my right front tire. The Bland wrecker truck driver said “ Oh, I get lots of business from that curb” so my experience is not unique. Please fix for the nest drivers, and contact me if there are any questions. The house across the street from us (209 E Wylie) has a ton of cut down branches that are blocking the sidewalk and road. These branches have been sitting there for over a week now.

There is a very dangerous vehicular traffic pattern on S Woodlawn Ave between Sheridan Dr and E Hillside Dr, especially near the Grimes & Woodlawn and Weatherstone & Woodlawn intersections. There is a blind hill on Woodlawn that greatly decreases visibility for everyone. North @ south-bound vehicles on Woodlawn regularly break the speed limit by 20+ MPH and have even seen estimated speeds of 70+ mph. Sometimes vehicles "floor it" on Woodlawn southbound from Sheridan Ln stop sign. The city should consider installing a STOP sign on Woodlawn @ Grimes intersection to decrease the speed of North & South-bound traffic on Woodlawn Ave. The city should also consider additional signage to protect pedestrians who are crossing from Weatherstone Ln to Bryan Park. I have almost been hit there several times by speeding cars and trucks. This is a primary route for cyclists, pedestrians, commuting students, and dog-walkers. Pedestrians and cyclists crossing Woodlawn anywhere between Hillside and Sheridan Ave risk injury and death by vehicles speeding up and down the blind hill. At the Corner of S Clarizz and E Goodnight Way there are new curbs installed so that you can cross the road. There are major apartment complexes on the west side of Clarizz blvd that use this crossing area frequently. As Clarizz Blvd is quite hilly it is extremely dangerous to cross in this area, often you cannot see traffic coming and traffic does not stop as there is not a formal crosswalk here. It would be great if you could install a painted cross walk at minimum for a crossing like this.
