The address is 1000 S Lincoln. This is the Allen Street side, with sidewalk, Greenway bump, and even the street block by leaves and walnut branches.
Can’t see Graham Drive oncoming traffic when turning off Brown Avenue. Also Brown Avenue is a busy street because of school traffic turning onto Graham.
Gray Ford Escape parked on street is blocking residence driveway and movement of vehicles parked in driveway. Vehicle has been left unattended in this state since at least 9:20 PM.
Our toilet drains slowly. There is also a bubbling in the toilet when we run the water faucets in the powder room, the kitchen and upstairs. We noticed the problem with drainage on Monday August 28, and it has gotten worst since. There has been recent work on our easement to lay fiber lines. We are certain the issues for our toilet drainage are directly connected to the work done in the past few days. Please remedy our situation. We are not certain if we can run our showers and laundry due to the backup in our downstairs toilet.
This racecar track is still blocking the sidewalk and the original report--case #186097--hasn't progressed. Can you assign a different person to this case that might address this issue?
There is a large piece of metal at the intersection of 2nd and Rogers (presumably covering up a pothole or other road issue). However, it is in the line of traffic and creates an extremely loud noise every time a vehicle drives over it making it difficult for anyone living in the general vicinity to sleep. Perhaps a different methodology could be used until the necessary road repairs are completed?
The city or a utility installed a new sidewalk. There are multiple pieces of rebar sticking straight up about eight inches on each side. The sidewall is marked with two orange construction cones. I presume the workers will be back at some point, but I don’t know when. Halloween brings a lot of foot traffic in this neighborhood, and I think folks may ignore the cones. It would be greatly appreciated if the rebar could be trimmed or otherwise handled before then. Thank you.
As you may know, the cable installers are back at work in the Winslow Farms neighborhood (after leaving it uncompleted for well over a year), and they are inflicting significant damage on properties. We came home to find piles of dirt and rock, a new ground box not flush with the ground, and significant damage far up into our lawn from their boring machine--way beyond the utility easement. Further, their work is damaging sidewalks-both cracking the concrete and pushing it up to create tripping hazards. They were rude to our neighbor who confronted them about these issues. Further, they indicated that they were going to trench back between the houses on Azalea, across the conservancy area, to Bayberry. I would like to talk with someone from the city about this excessive damage, how far back onto our property they are allowed to bring their construction equipment before it becomes trespassing, what is an acceptable expectation/timeline for repairs to our lawn, and what sort of plans they may have for trenching back between our houses and across a conservancy area. They posted announcements of their work AFTER they began and a neighbor complained. Please contact me when you can to discuss the ongoing damage this company is doing to our properties and neighborhood.
Fiber construction contractors (AEG?) were in our neighborhood (Sycamore Knolls) at the start of October. They've since moved on, but left open holes and piping sticking out the ground all over the place. These were visible, but with the falling leaves they have become numerous trip hazards spread throughout the neighborhood.
