Chuckholes on Muller Parkway at top of hill after exiting State Highway until passing Longview Mobile Home Court. Need repair in both east and west lanes.
The white traffic pylons were installed in such a way that there is now only one lane, with oncoming traffic, to turn into. This makes the intersection more dangerous, and I have seen several near-accidents there because there used to be a second west-bound lane to turn onto from Mitchell. Surely this was a mistake--the pylons could have been installed in such a way as to guarantee immediate access to Third St. from Mitchell, with no chance of a merging accident, and allowing merging further west.
Was there a rationale for the recent (this summer) changes to this intersection? With the closure of the 2nd lane of 3rd street it's dangerous to enter from Mitchell now. You're angled terribly to look for oncoming traffic unless you can crane your neck 120 degrees back and to the right. Also, as traffic heads east on 3rd street (from Mitchell) they block any visibility you might have. Are there plans to sort this out with a light, stop sign, or anything?
How is the city inspecting the newly installed curb cuts on E 2nd St. between Mitchell and High to ensure they are accessible? Several of these new curb cuts seem to have been completed, but they are not flush with the pavement -- they have at least a 1 inch lip on them.

I understand you are all probably really busy with the snow. It would be greatly appreciated if you could run a plow through this neighborhood. The streets have not yet had any plow run through it. The neighbor have tried to shovel and snowblow some parts of the streets, but it really just needs at least one pass through by a plow. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Gigabit or AES or their contractors are installing fiber optic cable or something such as that. Will they be repairing all the grass from the holes and tracks from the heavy equipment?
Gigabit or Giga-something installed fiber optics in the neighborhood. The holes they dug in the grass were not repaired. After advising them of the situation they came out to "repair" the grass. The soil was filled with rocks and gravel. There were no grass seeds in the soil. I spent a whole day picking rocks and gravel out of the soil, buying top soil, and grassseed to fix this. The ground is no longer level and there's also rather gouges or chunks in sidewalks and curbs. The road had preexisting, but plugged pot holes near the Sare entrance, but now those potholes are open again and expanding.
Recycling was not picked up for the entire street on the even numbered houses—only the other side of the street (odd number) had their recycling picked up. Please advise
It would be greatly appreciated if you would pick up our recycling this week. For some reason, last week, an entire side of the street was completely skipped for recycling. Many of us left our bins out for an extra day, but no one came. For the past few months, they only pick up recycling on one side of the street early in the morning, and then come back later in the morning or afternoon for the other side. They only do that for recycling--yet they pick up trash all at once. They obviously forgot to come back last week. Sorry to complain, but our bins are overflowing and we pay for this service.
