Traffic Signals
501 N Morton ST
- Case Date:

The pedestrian signal on the northwest corner at the intersection of College and Kirkwoid does not show the white ok to cross figure when approaching from the east. I noticed this last weekend but forgot to report.
Debris Removal (Sand, General Street Debris)

There are signs in this drain of the Monroe county govt parking lot. It is obvious that someone intentionally lifted this heavy inlet and placed trash and street sign in the way. This needs corrected immediately to fix stormwater flow here. How often are these cleaned out in this parking lot? There is so much debris and breaking apart asphalt that Monroe county is not maintaining. Also they cut down their trees and smoking continues too close to the building. How is this allowed?

This county government facility has so much dirt and debris that needs street sweep ran. Everything is going into storm system and being tracked out onto streets and causes damage.
Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

IU Packer trucks are having a hard time getting access to trash containers along 9th because cars are parking along the curb. The sidewalk was recently re-done but curbs have not been painted. Thanks Jill
Line of Sight

Once again, just like last year the city allows the sidewalks on Maple Heights Bridge to become wildly overgrown, obstructing the way and line of sight for pedestrians and bicyclists. I'll bet not a single location on the east or south side is ever this bad you classist pricks
Excessive Growth

So you all going to come cut the 4 foot tall grass coming up through the sidewalks on the Maple Heights bridge or you just gonna wait another year to maintain this area like usual? You know what would be cool is if you all actually maintained the town instead of relying on people to contact you. Here's a thought: make a grid of the town, have people regularly check certain sections more than just once a year or never, and when you spot something fix it. Another thought: perhaps you all need better management.
Blocked Street
502 E Kirkwood AVE
- Case Date:
- 3/21/2023
There is almost always a truck blocking one lane or another around this area in the a.m., but this is a bit ridiculous — two at once taking up most of both lanes with just enough space for a car to squeeze through. This was about 8 a.m. on 3/21/23. One of the drivers lost control of a keg and it rolled across the street, too. (Apologies for poor quality, this was taken quickly while stopped at the stop sign. I waited there while he got control of the runaway keg.)
Accessibility Problem

Kilroy’s has placed a sandwich sign and tables on the sidewalk in front of the bar, narrowing the path. The tables are folded up and maybe are being used as barriers, not for dining, but they are blocking the path. Thanks.

Just had a question. What are the cones at 3rd and N Smith for? Are improvements happening? Hope so. The new bike lanes are cool but N Smith is backing up more now with inability to turn easily. Thank you!
Street Lights
502 N Rogers ST
- Case Date:
- 10/28/2021
Multiple street lights are going out/flashing in the location provided.
Rogers St between the BLine trail and 8th St has two bad lights. The first is close to the Cook building and the other is closer to the BLine Trail.
The BLine Trail has one light that is directly back from the bad light by the Cook building which is by the back end of their parking lot by the trail.
8th and Rogers has a light out on the North West side of the intersection.
8th Street by the BLine trail, alongside the side of the cook building also has a light that is bad.
Also, the new parking garage has a light in the top of the stairwell that flashes very brightly and if you are walking along the BLine trail as it passes over 8th Street it startles you and somewhat blinds your sight and I feel this is somewhat unsafe for pedestrians along the trail.
