I'm trying to combine five separate complaints into one, as they are similar in nature (improperly parked scooters on sidewalks) and they're likely to forwarded to the legal department anyway. So I figured I would batch them up. I think each of the five photos show a scooter that should cause the city to cite and fine the company under city code. If they're not cited and fined, I would like an explanation within a reasonable time why they're not being cited and fined. Here's the five photos by file name, with time, date, and specific location: 20211123_072235.jpg On 2021-11-23 at 07:22:35 39° 10' 15.63" N 86° 32' 0.462" W 20211123_072614.jpg On 2021-11-23 at 07:26:14 39° 10' 17.916" N 86° 32' 0.12" W 20211123_072815.jpg On 2021-11-23 at 07:28:15 39° 10' 25.134" N 86° 32' 0.624" W 20211123_083413.jpg On 2021-11-23 at 08:34:13 39° 10' 35.352" N 86° 32' 5.478" W 20211123_084830.jpg On 2021-11-23 at 08:48:30 39° 10' 6.372" N 86° 32' 5.58" W If the interface doesn't allow me to add four more photos after I hit [Submit] I'll try something different. Thanks.
I think the scooter shown in the image is improperly parked on a sidewalk in violation of the city of Bloomington's local law. If the company is not cited and fined, I'd like to receive an explanation for the reason why not within a reasonable time. Saw a few reports on here were closed with very much the same answers but other concerns in the reports were ignored. We moved here years ago to retire and had worked in other governments and they all worked the same hours. Why do the county and city in this geographical area not work the same hours? It is very confusing because us citizens do not always know the correct place for help and need one or the other. Contrary to the response on here, we see the job postings in the paper, and the county has higher wages now by far with less education requirements, they work less hours as a whole, and they are closed for more holidays. I am unclear as to why the response given on this system is dismissive when there’s clearly a need for employees to be retained because citizens’ needs are not being met? Again it seems there have been many concerned with the fact that -not just you but many employers in the city are not modernizing and helping retain and attract employees in a healthy way for the long-term. If we were still in the government system working, a random additional benefit would not retain me versus better pay and less work hours in a week. Just another thought from involved citizens. Thanks for hearing our concerns.
I live in Maple Heights and due to the taste and smell of the water I have had to buy bottled water especially for my dogs who refuse to drink it. Also, my clothes were smelling bad as I don't use scented detergent or dryer sheets, so I have had to take all my clothes to dry cleaning. Where should I send the bill? I am not getting the product I pay you for!
Suggestion for system after being told to report stuff to state system. Their info states the following, “INDOT does not respond to reports containing profanity, obscenity, vulgarity, or defamatory or discriminatory language.“. Perhaps this should be added onto this city system as there seems to be some profanities utilized on here as of late. Thanks for your work!
