Ticket 176182. Going on a month for a reply and trying to figure out how to reply to your questions.
Our house is on corner of Smith road and Stonegate Drive. The tree is too large for where it was planted on the City Easement. The roots are tearing up yard. The branches are large and hit cars parked on street and also impacts pedestrians using public sidewalk.
Thank you.

At the Sherwood Oaks Park we need a short connecting paved path at the north end where the north/south path (almost) meets the east/west sector. When the gate is closed, pedestrians have to slog through mudpuddles or walk on slippery compacted snow to go from one paved trail to the other. Perhaps when you have equipment out there now repairing the flood damage on the NW corner, the crews could lay this small, but extremely helpful addition.

A big branch broke from the tree and is blocking the sidewalk. It is still attached to the tree.

I reported power lines/wires within reach of the sidewalk off Rogers very close to the front of the entrance to switchyard park over a month ago. This seems like a very serious issue. Why hasn’t anything been done about this? Has been like this for 6+ months! It’s sad to think there are people working for the city that see this as anything other than an emergency situation.

I have walked the trail at Latimer Woods at least once a day for the last 4 years. Thanks for providing us with a dirt trail through the woods.
Last fall, I believe employees of Parks and Rec. raked the leaves off the trail after they all fell in November. While this may have seemed like a good idea, the trail became treacherous after a rain, freeze/thaw, or snow.
Please leave the leaves on the trail. They provide traction, and help prevent erosion.
Thanks,
Mike Forney
