Bloomington resident Sam Melchior (dsamuelm375@gmail.com) contacted me through an email message the following concern: " I would still appreciate a further response as the scooter and ebike problem continues to worsen. I have added ebikes due to the increased use of them on the Bloomington Rail Trail and the increased size and speed of these vehicles. The 3 oak trees on Heather need severe trimming. The limbs hang down and hit windshields.

B-line trail lights 83, 79, 22 and 12 are either off or very weak. I observed these around Oct. 1, 2022. My notes also say J223 is off but I can't recall where that is (could be typo in my notes). Thanks much.

3 Bradford Pear street trees in need of trimming

The request is for removing three street trees from our residence. An arborist informed me the 3 trees are Bradford Pear trees, an evasive tree. He suggested that I contact the city for removal. The trees are overgrown and presents a hazard to vehicles and pedestrians

Several new street trees were planted when the sidewalk on South Maxwell St. was added earlier this year (or maybe late last year). Some of them aren't looking in great shape anymore. I'm also confused because they were generally planted right under the power lines, which seems like it will be an issue at some point.

Near the sidewalk toward the parking lot (where it rounds to drive back around), there is a large hole that is difficult to see. Last evening, I stepped in it and rolled my ankle. I wanted to share so no one else gets hurt. I am happy to help locate it with photos are meeting someone there. I didn't have a chance to take a photo as I could barely walk and wasn't focused on the safety thoughts in the future.

A large tree branch broke with yesterday's wind and his hanging from a tree which is partially blocking the road in front of my home on 3657 E Tamarron Drive. It needs to be cut down and removed to prevent a mishap. I believe this tree was scheduled for removal some time ago.
