Substandard service for trash and recycling pickup. The recycling crew has repeatedly turned the trash bin as if to indicate trash was picked up when it wasn't, and today the left the bin in the middle of the driveway. Why can't my bins be just put pack where I left them by the side of the driveway, as is done with all the other houses on our street? Perhaps we should just return the recycling bin, and save the money, and put everything in the trash?

I have had several weeks where my recycling was not picked up. Apparently, based on your website, this was because styrofoam was present, but the can clearly indicates that styrofoam is acceptable. Since there seems to be a contradiction, it would be nice if the collectors would leave some indication of what items are not acceptable, rather than leave the customer/taxpayer guessing. I am a condominium owner at the Woolery Mill Townhomes Section 2, a condominium community located at 1250 West Adams Hill Circle, Bloomington, IN, 47403. Every week, we have over-flowing trash bins. Often, I cannot add my trash to the bins, but must wait until they are emptied (otherwise I would add to the problem). I have photos from several weeks that this has happened. I have submitted this problem to the property management company, Jamar Property Management, LLC, several times. I have lived at these condominiums since August of 2021, and the problem has never been resolved. Would you please intervene? A simple increase of trash pick-up would probably solve the problem. We've also been told that one bin is for recycling and one isn't. But, there are rumors that the "recycle" bin really isn't recycled. No one seems to know for sure and we have not been informed by the management company. Thank you very much for your time, help and consideration. I appreciate it very much. I tried to attach a photo of what the bin looks like today, but I don't see that it was attached. I have several photos with dates that this has occurred continuously. It happens weekly. If you contact me by email, I can send you several photos of this on-going problem. Again, thank you very much for your help. This is a nice community, but the overflowing trash bins are inexcusable, unsanitary, and an eyesore.

re ticket_id=173521 Our recycling bin was not collected on Thursday, August 27, per the regular schedule (trash was collected that day). I sent the problem note on Friday the 28th. On September 8th I received a message that "we took care of the problem." That is either incorrect, because I had to wait a week to have a full recycling bin collected, or it is correct that the reason why we were skipped was figured out (not likely-as it probably was just a momentary oversight). All that was needed was for a truck to be diverted for 10 minutes from another route to collect our forgotten bin. Strangely handled...

There has been an abandoned cloth-upholstered couch degrading in the front lawn of 1208 S Woodlawn Ave for several weeks. There seems to be no indication of an intention to remove the couch any time soon. The couch may be attracting nuisance wildlife and be a source of mold, etc as it is directly exposed to the elements. The couch is also visibly a trash-waste item and it needs to be either placed inside the home or removed from the property instead of being placed on the side of the road for weeks.

Hello - I sent an email to sanitation department Wednesday morning but haven't heard back so trying this route... I live at 1205 S Washington St and our trash can went missing sometime between 1am and 9am early Tuesday morning. I've sent a note around to the neighborhood email list in hopes that someone will notice a random one abandoned in their yard. But so far no one has. A neighbor thinks he may have heard it traveling north on Lincoln near the intersection of Dodds around 2am). What's the next step? We don't produce much trash so could likely skip a week of trash pickup if there's a chance it'll be spotted by your tracking equipment elsewhere. Thanks for your help, Jenn
