This is like the third time the trash men have just straight refused to empty my recycling, and they also leave debris in my trash can as well. I don't have any inappropriate items in the recycling, it's aluminum cans and flattened cardboard. They didn't leave any kind of notice. Just uncollected trash. I feel like this just incentivizes me dumping everything in my trash since at least that way it will get collected.
City didn't empty my bin again. No notice left of why. I can't tell why. Nothing in there except approved items. It's really frustrating to have it get not collected every week.
The recycling fellow looked in my container and evidentally, a single plastic bag was not recylable, so he hung that bag halfway out of the container and did not pick up any of the recycling. I'm sorry I made that mistake, but it would have been small effort to put the bag in the trash container that was right beside it or to leave the plastic and take the recycling. Really poor service.
Recycling was due to be picked up today, but was not. Not sure if others in my area have the same issue, but I set my can out last night and it was not picked up.
Hello! We got a notice for leaving our recycling can put past 24 hours of pickup, because our recycling has not been picked up for a MONTH? I do not think it is fair for us to have to pay any fine at all, as we put the correct items in the recycling container and it wasn’t overflowing. We left the can out by the street for 24 hours in case recycling came by later because we were not sure what was going on and why it never got picked up? I even sent an email about 2 weeks ago and never got a response!!! We are upset about this and would appreciate a response. Ticket: 62023-02-0428 Please take a look and consider appealing this. Looks like the trash pick-up missed our cul-de-sac in Park Ridge East. Trash still in container and myself and numerous neighbors still have gray trash cans out.
Hello, we have not gotten trash collection going on a 4 week in a row. The recycling gets taken, and the trash is: 1) not overflowing 2)everything is in a trash bag so there’s no loose trash. But it is still untouched week after week. I do not understand the issue and was wondering if we could get told what the issue is and if we can get an alternate pickup day set up to finally get the trash taken. Thanks!
I found my trash can like this after this morning's pickup. My guess is that it was replaced too close to (or partially in) the road after pickup and it was struck by a vehicle. I also noticed another bin on my block with this same kind of damage.
This has been going on for weeks now. Our trash has not been picked up for 2 weeks IN A ROW. We have called sanitation and the city multiple times now about this issue. Going 2 weeks without pickup, we’re going to have a lot of garbage. After about 3 weeks of not receiving trash pickup, they proceed to STILL not take any of our trash. This is getting really ridiculous and to add on top of it, they give us a warning FOR THEIR ISSUE. Why don’t they do their job and find our trash bins every week that we have on the curb instead of just driving by them each week. This issue needs to be fixed asap.
