Whoever does mowing for the Old Thomas Sanitation Plant yard beside my mother’s home never mows all of the cities property. Her property only goes to end of fence at back of property as shown by the surveyed stake with a pink ribbon attached. This is approx a 5’ strip perhaps. Please inform mower to mow all of the cities property so we don’t have to!!!
Storm sewers are blocked by debris on the streets causing water backup on the road. The street needs to be cleaned and debris removed from storm grates.
Due to the rain yesterday, my basement has flooded and many others in Winslow Farms have as well. There is not enough drainage in place to handle the water that comes to my immediate area with a heavy rain. I have a storm drain in the backyard between my home and the neighbors. This drain is not sufficient to deal with the water for this whole area. Many times during the year in heavy rains, this drain gets overwhelmed and we get a large pool in backyard. Unfortunately, this time, the water rose to a point where it entered into my basement and I am now dealing with many thousands in damage. It seems that someone from the city needs to come analyze the drainage situation in this area of Winslow farms and some additional drainage systems or drains need to be added. Completely blocked storm drain just past the stop sign at West McDonald's on Franklin Road. Plus, lots of that foliage should be cut away.
Storm drainage culvert on East side of Binford Elementary is continually flowing clear water even during dry summer times. It is flooding the front yard of 648 Woodscrest downstream. just started this summer. We thought it was runoff from the school AC units but now that weather has cooled, it is still flowing. Concerned there is a broken pipe under the school or nearby that is flowing continually into this storm drain under the school.

My house is at 2308 E Linden Hill Drive in the Stands. In the open area behind my house, which borders on the Stands Drive there is a manhole labelled "sanitary sewer". Nearby that manhole there are 3 or 4 apparent sink holes (one about 18 inches deep) that seem to have formed recently. They may have no connection with the sewer system, but I suggest that they be checked out to make certain that there is not a leak of some kind, that could cause more damage. Drain is completely clogged
In February a water main burst and was promptly repaired. The hole has been filled but complete resurfacing has not been done. When can residents expect this to be completed? Thank you.
